Great location!

Centrally located in downtown Sandpoint. That was the highlight iof this place. At over $200 per night it was as pricey as a higher end hotel but the facility didn't seem to justify the price. Thankfully it is next door to a winery so that lifted my spirits.

This hotel need a good cleaning and an upgrade. The showers in the room are dirty and the room overall is not comfortable.

Weird

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Strange configuration, confusing entrance, poor parking, generally not up to La Quinta standards.

In the middle of Sandpoint.

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Located right next to the farmers' market that's held on Wednesday and Saturday.
Cons: Serve scrambled instead of hard boiled eggs and add bacon or sausage.
Location: Lake, restaurants, bars and shops
Convenient location, but the rooms are spread out over multiple buildings. My room was in a building about one hundred yards from the main office. So, I had to walk two hundred yards to have breakfast.

Clean, comfortable, quiet

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Location. Cleanliness. Parking.
Location: An easy walk to the beach and all of the restaurants are 3 blocks away.
The hotel was good value for the money. Accommodations were clean and well-maintained. The included breakfast buffet was basic but good. The hotel is spread across 3 separate buildings, which can be confusing at first. The hotel is an easy walk from all the amenities and sights. I would happily stay here again.

Nice stay short walk to town and beach.

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Good location to downtown. Helpful friendly staff.
Cons: Could use some updating in the passageway of the older building.
Location: City beach and park is nice. Good walks / bike paths in the area. Great food at Joels and 2nd Street Pizza?
We always enjoy being in Sandpoint. We enjoyed the warm days on the beach and in the park. (Need to do something about the goose droppings though).

Had a pleasant stay at the LaQuinta.

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: The spacious rooms and the quietness
Cons: Signage for the Lobby - We parked in a parking lot labelled LaQuinta but then had quite a walk to the lobby and back again.
Location: Enjoyed the shopping in downtown Sandpoint but we were just passing through
Stayed at the LaQuinta and found it to be roomy, comfortable and quiet. Probably the biggest inconvenience was finding the lobby, which was quite a distance from where we parked. The breakfast was great with lots of selection. The breakfast room was especially clean. A friend recommended LaQuinta to me and I'm glad she did!

great Sandpoint location

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was nice and staff in breakfast room was very pleasant. Located next to pedestrian walk way. Wifi worked, hvac worked.
Cons: See above, need towel racks in bathroom
Location: Sandpoint is a great little town. Lots of shops, restaurants. It is a small town so things close up early on the weekend.
spent 3 nights over memorial day with our 6 old grandson. The outside pool was open but not heated enough to use. It was around 70. Hot tub heater was not working correctly either. It was around 76. If these two things worked we would have rated higher. One day housekeeping didn't refresh our room. Since we were there multiple nights it wasn't that big of a deal. Hotels these days encourage guests to reuse towels which we are totally ok with. In this property tho there was only one small towel rack. There should be a towel rack by the outside sink and at least one by the tub.
