Home base for Silverwood visits

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Pet friendly Courteous and accommodating staff Restaurant near Beautiful flowers and landscaping!
Cons: I was completely satisfied with our visit.
Location: Close to nice little neighborhoods for walking the dog Close to grocery stores and small shops
I and my son and 8 year old granddaughter and their small dog stayed in Sandpoint for 3 nights. We used the pool and ate several meals at the restaurant. I stayed with the dog during the day while they went to Silverwood Amusement Park. I utilized the wifi, watched movies, shopped, and took several walks through lovely neighborhoods nearby.

Converted motel rather than an Inn

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: they kept our room for late arrival
Cons: internet access was non-existent: there were 3 wireless signals and each of them said "over subscribed, not available" --- at 10:30pm! + no breakfast
Location: Sandpoint is a pretty little town. McDuffs brew pub is great.
Arrived late at night (10pm) to a very unfriendly, and unhelpful desk clerk.

Good overnighter when traveling with the dogs

Would use this hotel again as the "stop-over" hotel heading through to the coast. Clean - everything you need to put you and the "pups" over for the night!

Nice price for a hotel that is very close to skiing at Schweitzer! Hot tub and pool are nice after a fun day of skiing!

Better online

I am in Sandpoint almost every other week for work. I am trying out different hotels. This was "OK"...just "OK". Small room. No view. Staff seemed uninterested in the fact that my heater wasn't working properly when the temp outside was below 20 degrees. I wont stay here again knowing that I can stay down the road at the holiday in for an extra $20.

Disappointed that room was not vacuumed for our 2nd night stay at hotel......nor was garbage cans emptied; also coffee was not replenished from day before. (Beds remade and linen replenished).
