In addition to an outdoor pool and three outdoor hot tubs, Selkirk Lodge provides ski-in/ski-out access, a fitness facility, and in the summer we have tennis courts. Selkirk Lodge offers a restaurant and a coffee shop/café. A bar/lounge is on site where guests can unwind with a drink. High-speed wireless Internet access is complimentary.

Selkirk Lodge offers 76 air-conditioned and heated accommodations with DVD players and coffee/tea makers. Rooms feature mountain or village views. Memory foam beds feature down comforters and premium bedding. Televisions come with cable channels and free movie channels. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers.
Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include phones with voice mail. Additionally, rooms include irons/ironing boards and juliet balconies. In-room massages (by appointment only), hypo-allergenic bedding upon request, and wake-up calls. Housekeeping is provided daily. Renovation of all guestrooms was completed in December 2009.

Selkirk Lodge has a restaurant serving lunch, and dinner during winter ski season as well as a complimentary buffet breakfast for hotel guests. Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner during Summer Operations (end of June - Labor Day Weekend) and has limited operations during the "shoulder season" (Mid April - End of June and First week of September to Winter Opening).

“"Fall Festival" what a great time.”
We attended the yearly "Fall Festival". What a great event over Labor Day each year. The rooms are great, close and the perfect reason not to drive after enjoying the libations. I look forward to next year!
“Summertime is Fun at Schweitzer”
While we went on the off-season and drove 2 hours to get to the mountain, my friends and I were impressed with the view. Summertime at Schweitzer heralds huckleberry pickings and horseback riding. We stayed in Selkirk Lodge, which has a cabin feel to it. The room itself was cozy, although three ladies sharing one bathroom mirror got pretty crowded fast. There are several shops in the main area selling clothing, wine, cheese, travel-sized items. For breakfast, the Mojo Cafe in Selkirk Lodge building served sandwiches and coffee. There are also a few restaurants on campus. I can understand why this mountain is popular during the winter--it would be so easy to stay here after a day on the slopes.
“Beautiful!”
Selkirk Lodge was great! We loved the cafe and ate breakfast there nearly every morning. Sitting near the top of Schweitzer Mountain, it had amazing scenery. Since it was mid-summer, it was pretty quiet especially at night. We attended my cousins wedding atop the mountain and it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended.
“Would like to go back”
Was impressed since I booked this lodge sight onseen. Wish there were more shops/restaurants open for the summer season. Staff in most restaurants and shops friendly and helpful.

I love staying at the Selkirk. Rooms are good, hot tubs are excellent in winter and the restaurant serves tasty food at respectable prices. Hard to beat, especially when there are deals for rooms.

The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly and very helpful, and it was a great place for kids.
“Not a soul in sight vacation.”
Room was nice and clean, staff was very friendly, we stayed in off season, was under impression the lifts were operating so we could take pictures of the fall colors but we will be doing just that in the summer. There really was not place to eat there at the motel cept for the bar that opens whenever so you have to go down into Sandpoint for food. But that was not a bother, we wanted a nice quiet weekend and that's exactly what we got, did not hear birds, planes coyotes nor people. We will go back.
“Earplugs recommended.”
Sound insulation was poor. Upstairs neighbors came into their room at 1:00 AM, woke us up, and then kept us up until 3:00 AM. The sound of neighbors flushing their toilets reverberated in our bathroom. Very noisy.
“Mountaintop Village”
Beautiful mountaintop location, nice room, neat movie "theater" room, on-site espresso bar and restaurant, great pool with three hot tubs, quaint shops, a pub, trails and chairlifts for hiking and mountain biking.
