Comfort Inn Sandusky

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable...provided you are able to sleep through the blaring DJ at the outdoor pool that goes all hours through the night. Had I been aware of this, I would have opted for another hotel with my young children. Sadly, calls to the front desk resulted in disinterested staff who made no move to offer to move us, or even apologize. I will be writing the corporate office as the morning saw us bedraggled and clearly worse for the wear.

The stay was pleasent. Holtel was generalyy clean with attentive staff.

The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. The pool area inside needed some serious attention. Kind of suprised since we stayed on a Monday, they weren't that busy that the pool area should have been bad. Outside pool area was nicer. Hotel is dated, but not to bad. Think maybe all smoking rooms should be seperate from the non-smoking. You could tell where the heavy smokers were staying, hallway smelled with heavy smoke odor. Our room did not smell though. Breakfast was good, lots to choose from. The shower was awsome. The beds were comfortable. All in all not a bad place. Would probably stay there again.

I was expecting more from a hotel that advertised that it was recently "Renovated and Refreshed". Other than the lobby, it appeared that most of the hotel probably looked the same way when it was built in 1995. Very disappointed to see stains on the walls in our room.

Went to sandusky to go to cedar point. the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

We took a motorcycle ride to Sandusky OH this past week and had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn. When the weather didn't cooperate or we were exhausted from walking around Cedar Point all day it was nice to go back to the hotel for a swim, hottub or just relax in the spacious hotel room. Staff were incredible and flexible when weather extended our stay - and being right near everything on Milan Road was a blessing when it came to finding a variety of places to eat or pick up things we realized we had forgotten (like warm clothes). The breakfast was fantastic, especially the last day we were there, we were able to make our own 'sausage mcmuffins' which was a nice treat, would have been nice to be served all week. Could have done without the biscuits and gravy but thats just our taste, lots of other choices. A very nice variety and the waffle selection was a fun touch. Only thing that would have been nice would be updated TVs but that's just a luxury. Rooms were very clean and we always felt very safe and secure which was our top concern with many of the 2 star hotels we saw on expedia. We will definitely return to the Comfort Inn!

I was very pleased with the general conditions of the Hotel. The only problem I did see was that the Public restrooms were in very poor conditions in the morning. They were next to the bar and had not been cleaned and were very nasty. I would hope that this is not normal because the Hotel was in excellent condition until I discovered this. The rooms were very well maintained and very Clean.

We booked a non-smoking room and that is what we got. It was fresh and clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that they mix smoking and non- smoking rooms in the same area on the same floor so the hallway always smelled of cigarette smoke.

The hotel was very clean and our room was very nice and comfortable. The resturant in the hotel was very upscale however, a bit to pricey, needed better menu choices and the staff was not friendly at all. Would stay again.
