Pros: The staff is friendly & the bathroom is the cleanest I have seen in a hotel, whatever the rate.
Cons: Replace old carpeting, over time.
Location: This hotel location is within walking distance to downtown, food, drink, river fishing & ferry access. The ferry to Put-In-Bay is 2 blocks away.
It has free Wi-Fi & was quiet. My only concern is that there was a cigarette smoke smell in it. Since it wasn't in the bedding it had to be in the carpeting. When I mentioned it at checkout the clerk said it hadn't been used for smoking in years, but the room next to it was for smokers. I know it is impossible to get all the smell out without a complete overhaul of the room. Our second floor room was accessed with stairs.

Pros: No mold and no mildew and no bed bugs
Cons: Worn out bedding and did not care for the strong smell of cleaning products
Location: 2 blocks from resterants and bars
bathroom was very acceptable. Shower and tub was all one unit. No mold. No mildew. Floor in bathroom was ceramic tile and very good condition also. The mattress was not bad. Bedding was clean but worn. (shows me they were washed alot but could be replaced. Especially the bed spread and blanket) Carpeting a little worn also. But it was all acceptable. A little pricey but it was June 1 so expected to pay more. Great location and loved the fact that we could walk to resteraunts and bars and could also walk to the Jet Express. Would recommend it to friends.

Location: Port Clinton Ohio is awesome, go there, but stay somewhere else!!!!!
The hotel room was clean, I'll give them that. However, the blanket and cover on the bed was practically threadbare. The fridge and microwave are in front of the mirror. Make sure you bring your own toiletries and extra pillows. The pillows are so thin we had to roll them to have any support for our necks. THE FLOOR WAS SOFTER THAN THE BED. My wife could barely walk the next day, her back was so sore from the mattress. We actually were booked in for 2 nights and left after the 1st night and slept on the floor at our friends' cottage as it was more comfortable. The front desk were told and they thanked us for telling them!

Pros: Very good location in downtown Port Clinton.
Cons: Bed spread well worn should be replaced. Replace pillows. Replace old television.
Location: Good location for catching the fishing scene at Lake Erie. Cedar Point is a first class theme park within twenty miles.
Basic creature comfort. Poor acoustics. Would rather pay a little more and get a little more.

We stayed two nights and the carpet never was vacuumed. We needed to go to the front office to get an iron and ironing board. The iron was burnt on its sole and the ironing board is a small one that sits on the table. It was overall ok, but would have liked a decent iron/board in the room.
