Save your money
Staff I personally interacted with was kind, but I was given two keys that did not work for my door originally. I also had a room directly located by an exterior door that did not lock, and on the other side of my room was the boiler room or wash room for employees. For hours I could hear loud rap music coming from said room which led a should be comforting evening in to be stressful and annoying. The machines in that room also squeeled all evening keeping us away. The bathroom had someone’s hair left in it, and the door was rusted in spots and difficult to close. Room had a strange Oder like someone had previously been smoking in it. Would not stay again if given the choice, and would rather have my money back. I could have had a similar stay at a far cheaper hotel. We did not use the water park so I can not speak on that.

Great staff, rundown facility
Staff was great except lifeguards they were inattentive. Even in the corner chatting with each other. All other staff very warm and friendly. Facility was pretty rundown and dated. Musty smelling. Weird set up. Breakfast is upstairs in what looks like an old staff room. Seemed cluttered.

Outlet was blown and hairdryer was burnt up. Cleaning rags left in the room. Cleaning fluid all over toilet paper. Only one slide worked in water park. Bowling alley was filthy and I’ve seen cleaner furniture in the trash dump. Games in the arcade were mostly all broken. Only thing good was the location. Hotel needs a serious update

The rooms were very dated the hotel inclusive mg rooms had a very musty smell and the water park had nothing for asults..there were leaks coming from several apostles and the entertainment, bowling, resteraunt everything closed very early. The whirlpool Which was the only thing for adults closed early and we had to switch rooms twice because of location Nd sirryness.. even the quilt on the bed had blood spots on it..won’t visit aga

The photos of the indoor water park are deceiving....it is a lot smaller than they portray it to be. There are only 2 slides and the child must be 46” tall to go down them, so no point in booking this place if your kid(s) are shorter than this. The only swimming pool area is outside next door, so it’s a bit inconvenient. Also, bring your own life jackets since they don’t have any there.

A great price for a great place
A very enjoyable stay. The room and guest service was very good. The small water park is best for kids but we had our fun. It is attached to The Thirsty Pony restaurant/bar. There is bowling, laser tag, game room and pool table. Lots to do and you don't even have to leave the hotel. Not to mention Cedar Point just down the road.

Quick trip to Cedar Point
My husband and I stayed here overnight while visiting Cedar Point for a quick getaway. The hotel seemed to have a decent price, was close to the park, and had an attached restaurant with entertainment so it seemed like a good place. It is very run down, but was a place to sleep for the night. THANK YOU to the other reviewers who noted to NOT stay in room 100. Upon checkin we were given room 100 to which I asked the front desk "is this right by the stairs?" and he responded "oh no its just right around the corner from the front desk". Which is - RIGHT by the stairs, 2 feet away from the hotel lobby. I immediately asked for another room for which he was accommodating immediately. So thank you to those reviewers otherwise we would not have slept at all. The hotel is ok, you get what you pay for so don't expect the nicest hotel in the world. If you need a place to stay, aren't picky, and like to save money - this is it!

If you have a young child, 4-9, the water park is a nice touch. The rooms were mediocre and the water pressure in the shower was bad. The breakfast was also mediocre and there was a lot of water damage on the ceiling tiles. Staff was very nice amd helpful.

All security doors were broken, there is a bar attached to the hotel so any drunk person can wonder into the hotel right to your room cause security doors are broke. My room was disgusting mold on the floors and tub , exhaust fan broken no water pressure in the bathroom , bathroom door broken wouldn't lock. Stains all over carpet , lifted up mattress and there were crumbs all under it. Ice bucket still had water in it from previous guest. Would highly recommend not to got to this place very poor .

Everything was awesome!! Cedar Point is nearing the end of the season, so the park is now closing at 8pm. It was so great that at 8pm we could come back to the hotel, get ready for dinner and head to the Thirsty Pony for some great food! We finished dinner by 9pm, just in time for Glo Bowling to start at Cedar Lanes and we bowled as much as we could for an hour. We then went upstairs to change into our bathing suits and head down to Rain Water Park because they are open until 11pm. We squeezed some water slides in, some splash pad time in and some hot tub time in before retiring to our room for the night. Woke up to have a great, hot breakfast then had some time to relax before heading back to Cedar Point for our second day. Overall, phenomenonal experience. I will most definitely be staying here again next year and bringing my closest friends with me!

Not worth the money
Very dirty. Not so great waterpark. Pool area had tons of huge spiders everywhere! We vouldnt even sit on the outside chairs due to all the massive spiderwebs. Childrens feet were filthy after walking on carpet. Room had bugs and spiderwebs all over by windows. Nice outdoor pool.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. It is very close to Cedar Point. But the hotel looked old. With old carpets, bathroom door wont close and our room smelled liked somebody just smoked. The good thing is when we complained, they did spayed well enough to get rid of the smell.

Hotel staff and service were nice & helpful. Our room was ok average our family had two double beds standard room extra firm bed wasn't too comfy needed a little plush to it ( not the Hilton ). Breakfast... I give an A for effort to the employees. Management really needs to update the "quality" of the food as well as a better clean place to eat breakfast. A lot of items were either stale or expire. Can't complain for free. Coffee was hot but water down from the machine and that's all day/nite. We went out for breakfast. Pool is cute and nice 3ft- 4ft outside. Rainwater park has two waterslide that's fun whirlpool was nice spacious comfortable... They also have the water falling down off items spraying out for kids it is real small. ( not like Maui sands,great wolf,or your bigger water parks ). Life guards are there doing there job. Water park times 4pm -11:00pm Save money or something different.

The hotel was okay. When we got to our room though there was a hair still in our shower and we found a dorito chip behind the night stand that the housekeepers hadn’t gotten. The bowling alley was nice though and affordable. The water park though I felt was unsafe. I did not have a safe trip down the water slides.

i appreciated the breakfast (tater tots and bacon were SOOOO good). there is a bowling alley and restaurant connected. the indoor water "park" is small and doesn't open till 4pm /: no other pool.

Hotel is older but has been updated. Mattress and bedding is comfortable. I think the only thing that would have made my trip better would have been queen size beds. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was dirty and smelled terrible. No elevator or easy way to get stuff to our room. It has a "waterpark" but there was NO WAY I was letting my kids go to it. Its hidden behind a nicer holiday inn and apparently for good resson.

Carpets needs to be replaced in the entire hotel, no microwave, but staff was friendly enough. The first day the entire hallway was full of pit smoke. I saw kids pulling their shirts over their faces walking to get to their rooms the stink was so strong. There were at least 10 people in the first two rooms of the hallway that were the culprits. I informed the front desk and was told, “we will do what we can.” Which was nothing.
