Room was great. By 8am, continental breakfast was picked over. Staff that just went off did not restock and incoming staff was busy. Told 1/2 hour to replenish everything

Pros: location, continental breakfast, pool & staff
Location: Staff was very helpful in giving directions to where things were. Pretty much everything was nearby.
Needed the room for Ohio Bike week festival. Hotel was very conveniently located close to main roads as well as the event.

Dissapointed

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the past. It was a great value and perfect for an overnight stay for a trip to cedar point. However, this time around we didn't have the same experience. Hot water in the shower was hit or miss...didn't matter what time of day, one of my family members would be in the middle of their shower and it would suddenly go cold on them. Two bulbs in the the room were burned out. A simple checklist housecleaning staff could follow would have addressed this before hand right? Safe in the room, had low battery. We were worried to lock our stuff in it for fear the battery would die and we'd be at the mercy of the staff to get it open in a timely manner. Ended up paying fifteen dollars at cedar point on their safe to lock our passports and iPads into while we were there for the day. A cost that could have been avoided if the safe in the room worked. Again, something that a simple housekeeping checklist could have caught before hand. Breakfast was great and staff were friendly, but very disappointed in our stay this time.

Great Layover on Road Trip

This hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. It was a great place right off the highway to spend the night

Very nice stay for the $$$

Stayed for two nights and had no issues at all. Room was clean and appeared to be recently updated. The sign out front was scrolling a message about new flat screen LED TVs. Breakfast offerings included waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Bed was fairly comfortable and water pressure was excellent in the shower. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful when recommending a local restaurant. Would stay again if needed in this area.
