The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We are very pleased with our room, clean, comfortable , sheets were super soft and the bed was extra comfortable , everything you could want in a room for relaxing at the end of a long day.

Sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, as for the smoke issue a guest must of just smoked outside and must of left the door open.

Property is in need of a full remodel. There has been some cheap remodeling done but it is not quality work and much more still needs to be done. I would also highly recommend switching from double beds to queens. We did have one issue that arose that the staff was very quick to correct. Staff was very nice. I doubt we will stay here again when visiting the area unless a full remodel is done. Hotel is very dingy and old without it.

It appears to be family owned and operated. Everyone was kind and helpful. We could tell they've been working on updates. We stayed for 3 nights (2 rooms) and would stay again.

The hotel it self is dated, but otherwise very clean. Really liked the onsite laundry facilities. Plenty of restaurants close by. We would stay here again.

Building looks abandoned. There were no cars at all when we pulled into the parking lot. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. Pictures have to be from 10 plus years ago. Blinds in windows are all broken. Weeds growing up all around the building. We didn’t stay, didn’t feel safe at all being there. Ended up losing our $100 for the room and went to another hotel.

Sorry when you came there were no cars, as for you money nothing was charged since you did not even come in to check in or cancel. Also this building does not have any blinds it has curtains.

Hotel was clean, close to the lake and the Jet Express. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly but seemed to be the only one working there all weekend. Breakfast was less to be desired. It consisted of toast, fruit jello cups, packaged doughnuts from Walmart, water & juice. Price was cheaper than other hotels in area - so you get what you pay for 👍

Great place, super clean. The only downside was my service wasn’t the best, and connecting to the wi-fi was hard. But overall I loved it!

You cannot believe the baloney!
I booked this room months in advance. Then my daughter tryied to book a room within a month of our arrival. She was told they were book. Bull hockey! Lots of rooms available. I was told do to the busy season I may not get a ground floor as I requested. Another big wapper... what is wrong with you people. Poor communications between your operators and the hotel. The room window was broken (Oh it's on the ground floor. No worries there was a stick in the window for security. 0730 for a meger grab and go. Not sure what they served because we had left earlier in the day. There was basic direct tv, no movies, lots of adds.

Sorry for you bad experience, as for the tv situation, that's the way DIRECTV has satellite tv programed, we do offer many channels over 100 channels, sorry you did not find anything to watch. The windows do lock but the stick is there for extra security, because guest safety is something that needs to be taken seriously

Very nice for the price, clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Breakfast not fancy, was pre-packaged stuff, but tasty and a decent assortment.

For a bunch of guys needing a place for a fishing trip it was perfect. Across from the Jolly Rodger and the Big Boy so breakfast and lunch were right there. Easy check in and they let us early check in. No breakfast or coffee in lobby and it was ok otherwise. We have stayed before for our annual walleye fishing charter and will likely stay again. Would choose another place if bringing my wife.

A decent place to stay ...
Nice hotel, friendly staff, close to downtown, beach, lighthouse, etc. Jolly Roger's across the street .... excellent food!! My only issue was the carpet in the room needed to be cleaned. Of course, I had my shoes off in the room. The bottom of my feet looked like I had been walking outside with my shoes off. But all in all, it was a decent place.

Great place to stay
This place is amazing. They bent over backwards for us. Very clean. The breakfast could use a little more to it but it was good. The pancake machine was very cool. Over all we will be back next year. Oh and the price was great.

The guy told me about the whole first floor was taken by handicap people but when I looked at them they certain I just have to hip surgery so climbing up the stairs with a bunch like it was a very big inconvenience
