Good for one night getawayPosted Mar 10, 2014
The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are slightly outdated but could definitely be worse. Pool and hot tub are in good condition. The tv system definitely needs to be more up to date and the fridges aren't cold. Location is very easy to get to though!

Good winter ratesPosted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: Access to everything and the price is of value.
Cons: Better TV's these are from the 90's..... A better breakfast. Nothing but carbs offered.
Location: Near "downtown" Sandwich with good highway access.
Wasn't there but 1 night. The wife had a great time in the jacuzzi, although there were the usual screaming vacation kids.

Nice facilityPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Although a little dated, clean microwave, refrigerator..clean bathroom...great staff!!!
Cons: Continental breakfast... The room is small...all items were either brown or white...need more variety of fruit..maybe breakfast bars..
Location: We were there for grandsons' football game in wareham which proved to be 25 minutes away...
We were looking for a moderate priced hotel/motel near Wareham. We were pleased with our accommodation at the Sandwich lodge. Indoor pool very nice, arcade for children available and a pub next door in walking distance that afforded 10% off bill. Staff awesome; we were lost coming in at night and receptionist stayed on the phone to guide us. The only drawback was the continental breakfast...only apples and a long row of carbs...so I passed, my husband had cereal. It's across from stop and shop...really nice area.. Definitely pleased....

great place .........reasonable pricePosted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: Clean, updated rooms not fabreezed over to cover smells. Close to many bike trails. we stayed there and went to Plimouth Plantation
Cons: Great deal for the money!
Location: lots of things to do around the area. We went to dinner with the Pilgrims at Plimouth Plantation (about 15 miles) and rode the canal bike trail
The hotel was as advertised. room was a clean, fresh smelling no smoking room. Rooms and hallways looked to be recently renovated. Hotel was swell kept. Staff was friendly and professional. We arrived before check-in and were offered an early check in for $10. Bike trails are very close and hotel staff gave us permission to park at the hotel and ride to the canal trail. Older TV but picture was sharp. Indoor pool and whirlpool was well kept and clean. The whirlpool was not a spa tub (no high pressure jets on the back and feet) but it was relaxing all the same after the 14 mile bike ride. All in all it was a great place to stay. We will stay there again if we are back in the area.
