GREAT RESORTPosted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: It's location is beautiful and it's ideal for families.
Cons: The beds!!! hard as rocks. Also at times the beach had quite a bit of litter which was very unsightly.
Location: The location is beautiful the resort is set in a lovely bay, but nothing to do nearby.
My family and I had a really good time at this resort, the food was great with plenty of variety, and the pools and restaurants were excellent. The beach was a bit of a walk to get to as our room was the furthest away from it, and most of the time it was fairly crowded. However having a young toddler with us we tended to go later in the day when it was cooler for him and the beach was quiet. It's an excellent resort for families, but not much outside the resort, however buses stop outside so you can visit Ibiza town etc.

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Would go again. Great hotel, excellent food with plenty of choices. Weather was perfect. Relaxing quiet hotel at this time of year. Great for families with small children and couples. No rowdy drunks or noisy nightlife Excellent!

Insotel Tarida BeachPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: All inclusive was excellent with branded drinks and spirits available up to 11pm. Friendly staff and excellent health services on site.
Cons: Whilst impressive that meals can be provided to the masses, it was quantity rather than quality. Bedrooms are very basic (2 twin beds, old tv).
Location: Cala Tarida is small and quiet but has bus stops and taxis easily available so anyone in Ibiza moaning about their hotel location is just too tight!
For the price you can't really argue with Tarida Beach, you get all inclusive for the price of bed and breakfast elsewhere. Not far from San Antonio (15 minutes / Euros in a taxi) therefore handy for a lively clubbing without being in the action 24/7. Whilst the beach was great (and you can take beers from the bar), for some reason it was €8 per person for a sun lounger per day, which really ought to be free for hotel guests as its advertised as a beach resort.

Most Suitable For FamiliesPosted Oct 2, 2012
Pros: The food and the location
Cons: The lack of porter service and the noise level at the pool
Location: Excelent if yu want a quieter environment
Had a lovely time here. The food was absolutely superb. Room excellent. Staff very good. State of cleanliness very good indeed. I would point out that this resort is totally unsuitable for anyone with any form of disability due to it being based on a steep incline, there being stairs up to each room, in our case three flights, and very disappointingly, NO PORTER SERVICE despite paying for GOLD service. The only other criticism I would make is that despite there being two children's pools and a very clear sign that states no diving, in the full presence of a statuesque lifeguard, kids and adults were screaming, shouting, diving and splashing at both adult pools, causing an unnecessary and disturbing noise level. Otherwise it is very agreeable in a quiet position, right next to a great beach.

Great hotel for family and couplesPosted Aug 14, 2012
Pros: Great choice of food and drink
Cons: Nothing significant to fault
Location: Based on a hillside in a lovely bay
A great holiday hotel, in a great location. Although based upon a hillside the walk through the complex added to the variety. Having stayed in August in peak season the hotel was busy yet the staff worked really hard to ensure that you were served swiftly in the bar and dining areas. The choice of food and drink was excellent, the kids were really impressed with the options, and there seemed to be something for everyone. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette area, the sofa bed was made into 2 high quality beds for the kids.

great hotel to relaxPosted Jul 31, 2012
Perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The grounds were beautiful, full of flowers and tree's and the beach was lovely. All the staff were great, but the entertainment was focused on the children and it was hard for British people to get involved as it was geared toward spanish and german people. However there is a fantastic bar on the other side of the beach that serves cocktails and has fire twirlers. The rooms were spotless and the all inclusive food and drink selection was amazing, a large selection of the meat was freshly cooked in front of you.

Not as good as it used to be...Posted Jul 8, 2010
We stayed here in 2005 & had a fabulous time...which is why we chose to return in 2010. However, we were not as impressed this time around. We arrived late, so I decided to shower. I turned on the shower, took off my clothes, & stepped into a bath tub ankle-deep of water. My husband had to fix it by unclogging a drain FULL of hair; with that in mind, how was it ever even cleaned? When we reported it, the staff seemed to think, "well, they fixed it so we don't have to." I had to request maintenance come & snake the drain out. The majority of the entertainment is for children. Yes, it's a family resort, but there used to be an Adult Disco in the evenings... now it's all about the kids. Everything for kids & nothing for adult entertainment in the evenings except the amateur theater act. We also found the staff to be ruder than our previous stay. While it's probably still a good resort for families, it is no longer a good resort for couples with no children looking for a nice time on the quieter side of the island. We will probably not choose this particular Insotel again.
