Total lie!!

Posted Jul 25, 2014
! When i was booking, i read rooms would have ac . It was a lie. They told us they prefer natural conditions. The bed was extremely noisy and i could hear every single noise from outside. Worse night of me life If i new before i would not have slept there. I made the mistake of recommending another friends to travel and sleep with me there. It was a bad recommendation,

Business trip in paradise

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: beautiful surroundings, nature, patio, pool, small
Cons: old 19" tv was a let down. no soap, tp, modest room; but with a million dollar view.
I wanted to stay in a hotel during a 5 day trip in an exotic environment, a little off the path and not a nice box.

Great stay!

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The awesome views, nice grounds and superb staff.
Cons: Playgroung for childen, though there is planty of Green areas.
Location: It is near Lindora, where you can find variety of restaurants just 5 minutes taxi ride, they arrange the best daily tours.
I really recommend this place, very convenient located not far from the airport, I used this hotel as our based home as our family arrived in different flights. We loved the quietness and drinks chilling around the terrace, we definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful grounds good service no air conditioning

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The setting
Cons: Airconditioning
Location: It is near the airport and there is a nice restaurant at the bottom of the hill. There is free but slow wifi available
Without air conditioning in muggy hot rainy season was tough. The service was great and the breakfast was nice, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms have a lot of character.

Peaceful pitstop to anywhere

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Everything, the garden is gorgeous, the views spectacular. ....oh crap I sound like an advertisement for them....lol
Cons: Um, well the only thing I can think of is have another close to me here.
Location: Yep, can't help you there, near the airport is the best I can do for location. What to do?
After a long day of traveling, you find courteous people waiting to help you into your room. You have a very tasty restaurant at the entrance, so once there no need for you to leave. , a bar inside and a pool to cool you down. Clean and comfortable rooms. The price could not be beat for such an awesome nite. I will return every time I need to travel to San Jose.

Peaceful location close to city

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Directions would be easier from Piedades Centro, what tourist knows the bus terminal? Staff very friendly and accommodating, older hotel kept up pretty well, nice Countryside setting. Linens, towels, pillows good, could use sitting chair, bathroom spacious, good hot water.

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle.

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: It is tucked away and quiet and the garden is lovely.
Cons: The beds were pretty hard and there was no ceiling fan.
Location: Close to Santa Ana where there are some great but not cheap restaurants.
Lovely courtyard around the pool. The hotel is hard to find but does appear on google maps. It is quaint, a little dated but clean.

Beautiful stop in San Jose

Posted May 24, 2014
We live in rural Costa Rica and often need to spend the night in San Jose for the odd night. We found this hotel on expedia for an incredible low price and thought why not. :-) it was wonderful! The staff are absolutely lovely. The rooms are clean and basic. I would say the beds are a little hard but my husband loved it - so it may just be me! No air conditioner or fans in the room, so they can be a little warm but San Jose is cool enough in the evening you don't really need it. We will definitely be back!
