Convenient Hotel close to the freeway.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The Courtyard.
Cons: Make the entrance to the hotel grounds more secure. All doors to the hotel should have security locks/keys to them.
Location: Close to the beach and shopping and food markets.
Very conveniently located close to the freeway entrance and close to the beach and any markets needed. Beautiful courtyard and comfortable room. Easy and free parking.

Not too bad for the buck

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: Plenty of stuff to do in the area.
OVerall not too bad. Bad: our room key and room was given to another group of people so they attempted to come in the room while we were in it and the Manager blamed it on the computer. Huh? Who programs the computer? Jacuzzi is a JOKE as well as the pool! Small and useless. Internet was the worst I have ever had in any hotel in the last 10 years. Good: The food from the in house restaurant was GREAT! I mean GREAT! Very pleasant atmosphere and good looking hotel. The staff were ok, not the best but average. Overall I would give it a 3 out of 5 but I would return.

Loud and Old

Loud freeway noise. Old bathroom style. The room was crooked. The mirror slanted. The neighbors upstairs were heard with every step.

Traveling Sisters

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The customer service and our room was excellent, restaurant convenience.
Location: We were about 15 minutes from Santa Barbara, which was very convenient since that's where we wanted to visit.
My sister and I were traveling together from Arizona, along the coast to Northern California and staying in different hotels nightly. We were surprised that this Best Western was much nicer than we planned. It was nice that there was a restaurant located right in the hotel since we drove for 8 hours and needed a place close by to eat and then relax in our room. The hotel had a very nice patio area; there were folks their planning a wedding.

Overpriced and old hotel

Posted Jul 11, 2014
I prepaid my hotel and when I checked in I was given no info about hotel or amenities Not a good fit. To expensive 175.00 per night for a best western. Really. Jacuzzi wasn't even hot. Only lukewarm water. Also saw little green ants in my room.
