Pros: Everything.
Cons: The beds
Location: Good location, close to highway. Not far from the Wharf and Los Angeles, great for whale watching and water sports.
Wonderful hotel in good location. Breakfast is great and hotel is clean. Very close to Santa Barbara's Wharf.

Easy access to UCSB

Pros: The beds
Location: Plenty of food choices near by
It's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The rooms are not big but ok but are nice and quiet. We didn't hear the people next door at all. The beds are comfortable and nice. They have a flat screen TV and a DVD player. Bathrooms are small but sufficient. It has two stories but no elevator. There is a small pool area to hang out in. It's was better than I expected of a Best Western. I'd stay again.

Great place to stay close to UC

Posted Jul 13, 2014
We've stayed at this hotel before while "visiting" offspring at the UC and have never been disappointed. It's a reliable and well-maintained property, perfect for a short stay. Not a luxurious, destination place.

Beach is great if you also like cold weather

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Room was okay for being on the beach. Temps were cool enough that we didnt spend much time at the beach. Wifi was horrible. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Pool and hot tub were fine.

Grandchildren loved the pool , breakfast ,gardens

Posted Jun 1, 2014
We stayed on a holiday weekend. Hotel was filled with noisy college students ( and older) drinking and smoking late into the night. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool, breakfast, gardens and ping pong table.
