Nice place for a short visit.

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: It was a nice quite place to stay with good parking. The spa & pool were very nice. The staff was great.
Cons: Not a lot of places for lunch or dinner near by.
Location: Not bad but not great. It was a nice place to stay over on a long trip. Not a destination hotel.
The staff was outstanding. The room was great and included free DVDs. The bathroom was tight but clean. It was a great place to rest before our trip to Arizona.

Dirty floors

Posted Jul 3, 2015
I notified the front staff that our bathroom/ shower Flores were "sticky" I was assured that it would be taken care of. They must of been to busy😫😫😫. The facility was old, but very charming, front staff very accommodating. Over all a nice hotel for a few nights.

Great location, super helpful staff.

Pros: nice location - two blocks from the beach. Free bike rentals made cars unnecessary. The staff was very helpful and personable. Comfortable beds.
Cons: This is an older property but felt rustic rather than dated.
Location: everything accessible by bike - beach, restaurants, zoo
Great choice for exploring SB. some great personal touches

A little disappointed with the cosmetics only.

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: They offer all the extras while staying there...staff is wonderful.
Cons: Mostly, cosmetics to the building.
Location: Location about two blocks to the beach...boat tours, water equipment and restaurants once you get to the beach.
After looking at the lovely pics that are posted for this Inn...I was a little surprised when I got there! This place really needs some paint on the exterior...like handrails, doors, and should change the carpet! The rooms are in better shape than the outside. I had two beds in my room, and a fairly good size. Met with Iris when I got there...she's great, gave me info and maps, very welcoming, and let me know that if I needed anything to please let her know. I must say though that what they lack in paint and cosmetics...they make up with amenities, like, offering wine and cheese, cookies and milk at various times of the day, give you bikes to ride for free while you're staying there...and you can easily walk to the beach from here.

Friendly, clean, comfortable hotel.

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: Nice Breakfast, wine and cheese in the late afternoon, fresh baked cookies at night. Nice clean pool and hot tub. Free parking and internet.
Cons: New air conditioner. Unit was old and only in the middle room of our suite.
We had a delightful 5 night stay. Nice close location to the ocean, easy 5 minute walk. Close to a variety of nice restaurants.

OK

Pros: Friendliness, warm staff. Afternoon snack and wine. Breakfast.
Cons: Carpet, bathroom window (could not be shut down.)
Location: That part is good enough.
Friendly staff is the strongest part of the hotel.

Pretty hotel close to beach + wine tasting

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Pretty building with spacious rooms, many amenities (pool and hot tub, bikes, etc.), friendly staff with good service.
Cons: The continental breakfast could perhaps be expanded, but they have the usual cereal, fruit, bagels, + pastries
Location: Close to the beach, many wine tasting rooms, surf shops that rent boards and other equipment.
The hotel is beautiful and in a very convenient location! Beach is walking distance and so are the many wine tasting rooms. One day we didn't want to do the 15 min walk to the wine tasting, so we took an Uber for $4! The staff was extremely friendly and kind. The woman at the desk gave us a warm greeting and at one point asked for my phone number in case we left something behind, which we actually did - I got a call about a pair of sunglasses we left. I gave them my address and the glasses we back in 2 days! So kind to let us know and return them so quickly. There are also many amenities that I didn't realize we available, like a hot tub and swimming pool, plus free bike rentals for 4 hours per session (first come first serve), and a complimentary bottle of champagne! I would highly recommend this place!
