Wine all the timePosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: loved the decor, and style
Location: we visited several wineries and really enjoyed that. If you go to the Fess Parker winerary be sure to go on Monday, Wednesday or Friday and ask for J
We really enjoyed our stay at the Fess Parker in & Spa. Upon arriving in Los Olivos we entered the lobby and checked in with ease. when we entered our room we were blown away how elegant it was. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also really nice with a separate shower and tub. My wife loves to soak in Epsom salt baths and she really enjoyed the stay. We will surely stay there again if we return to the area.

Deceiving photosPosted Jun 11, 2014
Cons: not possible with the location
Location: In the town of Los Olivios...wine and shopping
The photos reveal a different looking hotel than the one you see. It is on both sides of the street of a small town. Most rooms front the sidewalk. You really difficult to find the check-in. You park on the town streets. The room was nice in size and linens were great. Just not what it is advertised.

Great Hotel in Santa Ynez Valley Wine CountryPosted Jan 20, 2014
Had a superb stay here. The room was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Lovely breakfasts although didnt eat in the restaurant in the evenings. Los Olivos may be a little quiet for some but for us it was a perfect way to relax for my birthday. Very peaceful and very handy (by car) for lots of wineries and the little towns of Solvang and Buellton. Santa Barbara, with its lovely beach and shopping etc are only 45 mins drive if you want something a little more lively. As guests of the hotel you also get complimentary wine tasting at the Fess Parker Winery, the tasting rooms of Epiphany and Tessa Marie in Los Olivos and also the on site Wine Tasting room in the hotel. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Wine tasting overloadPosted Dec 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel and excellent staff. Los olivos has too many tasting rooms and it does get old after awhile. The hotel is very nice but not a whole lot to do at the hotel.

Charming hotel in the middle of Los OlivosPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Very nice pool area. The room was large and had nice linens.
Cons: The woman at the front desk didn't seem to know enough about the area. We were trying to check the time on our wine tour and she was not much help.
Location: This is a small small town surrounded by wineries. There is one fabulous restaurant in town which has the word "Hardware" in it's name.
A small hotel with very well appointed rooms with luxurious robes and a large room. The breakfast, which was included was off the menu and was delicious. We found the staff very friendly and we will definitely return.

Great Place To Get EngagedPosted Jul 24, 2013
Location: Lots of wine tasting and relaxing. 30 different vineyards!
The Fess Parker Inn was everything we expected and more. Everyone was kind and went out of there way to help. The room was clean, well decorated, and spacious. The fireplace was an especially nice touch. The pool was also very nice with two separate fire pits and plenty of space to lounge. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. I would recommend the Petros Omelet, The Calamari, and the Sea Bass. Also, once learning that we were engaged that day they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne. Thank you again for making our trip perfect. We will definitely be back.

Front desk staff friendly at check in and check out. Los Olivos is a great sot for wine tasting, walk from tasting room to tasting room.

Outstanding boutique hotel. Beautiful, spacious room in main building. Totally remodeled. In heart of town with easy walk to several tasting rooms and restaurants.
