“Very pleasant getaway”

Hadsten House looks like a standard motel from the outside, but once you go into the lobby or your room, that's where any similarities end. The room amenities are actually quite luxurious and comfortable, although the bathroom area is a bit tight. I have not stayed anywhere else in Solvang, but my impression is that this hotel is definitely in the upper tier. We enjoyed the heated pool a lot. There is also a spa, although we didn't use it. Make sure to make reservations for the hotel's restaurant, which is upscale and intimate and also happens to be one of the few nice restaurants open in the area at night.

Charming little place to stay while you are enjoying wine country. Within walking distance of all the tasting rooms, so you can taste without worrying about driving. Lovely restaurant, with a great selection of wines.

“Chic inn in the heart of Solvang”

Stayed there for 3 nights, love the interior of the room. Best place to satay in Solvang. The complimentary breakfast were great, cereal, oatmeal, egg, danish. Also, the complimentary wine and cheese between 3-5pm were great. The room was very clean, and the bed was amazing. Definitely will go back.

Rooms are very nice. Will surely stay again. Had to leave a few clothes in suitcase as not enough drawer space. Pool area nice but pool water was cloudy, not very inviting. Enjoyed the evening free wine/cheese/fruit reception and free breakfast buffet. Very nice!

The best hotel ever!! The customer service was AWESOME, the room was beautiful (a little small, but well decorated, detailed, and clean), the food at the restaurant was amazing, the spa area was gorgeous with the two fireplaces and comfy chairs, the indoor pool was great! The bed was very soft and I got the best sleep I've gotten at any hotel ever. I proposed to my girlfriend here and it was the perfect place. She said yes! The hotel staff helped me by setting up champagne, glasses, chocolate covered strawberries (for an extra $12), and a present I brought. We ate dinner at the restaurant and they set all of this up beautifully while we were at dinner. We came back to the hotel and everything was perfect! They even put a towel down for my knee! Each time I am in Solvang, I am staying at the Hadsten House!

“Nicely appointed room”

Overall good experience with the hotel. It was currently under construction but mainly the lobby and common area. The room was nicely furnished. Very comfortable bed with quality linens. Very clean and comfortable. Very pleased. Surprised to find a DVD player in the room however, we were not able to get it to work properly. Horrible connection which resulted in a high pitch squeal when we tried to play a DVD. But not too disappointed since we weren't there to watch TV and came prepared with a portable player anyway. I would definitely stay there again.

“Awesome Solvang Hotel”

Absolutely loved the Hadsten House hotel and would definitely recommend this place to any interested travelers and especially for a quaint romantic getaway. The room decor was very stylish, the room was clean, and the service staff was friendly. For the great deal on the rate that we paid per night, this was absolutely worth it. The complimentary wine and cheese and morning breakfast though not spectacular were very delicious and what you should expect from any hotel. Overall, would definitely stay here again and hope that you have as good of an experience here.

“Very nice hotel in Solvang”

Hadsten House was very nicely maintained and the staff was very professional. The hotel was located on the main highway through town but we did not hear any street noise or traffic from our room. It is a nice easy walk to the village center so you can leave your car in the hotel parking lot and walk to see all the quaint shops and bakeries. Would highly recommend this place.
