Avoid this place.Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Staff was generally helpful.
Cons: See experience.
Location: Was there for a bike race. Will be staying somewhere else next year.
Initially the staff was helpful in accommodating a late check-in however the late check out I requested for 1PM really didn't go as planned as our access cards stopped working at 10:30AM which hampered any activity (ie loading up the car). The room was generally clean but the small fridge was not secured in the opening causing the fridge to come out when you tried to open it. The fridge at its max setting could only get things to 60 degrees which ended up spoiling a bunch of food. The sheets and blankets were full of holes and stained and should have been long recycled. One sheet was replaced when requested but even the replacement one was holey. For a room that I had to sign that I wouldn't smoke in it smelled like someone had already smoked there. The windows had no screens. The AC unit two doors down was in bad need of repair and let out a bone-chilling howl whenever it cycled on - this lasted for as long as unit stayed on. We were provided just two towels for 4 people initially and there was just one spare available after 10PM. The staff were pleasant and it seemed that the short comings were from a lack of investment on the part of the ownership not from the substandard operation by the staff.

Days Inn at LompocPosted Mar 20, 2014

Days Inn????Posted Mar 19, 2014
Hotel has Days Inn sign at street and on hotel so difficult to know if you are at correct location! Remote for tv didn't work. Fan in bathroom not connected. Bed was very comfortable. Had to go upstairs for breakfast which is difficult for handicap guests! Grounds had lots of trash but very windy. Grass area convenient for dog.

Inn of LompocPosted Mar 17, 2014
The hotel was confusing to find as the address was the Days Inn. We were looking for the Inn of Lompoc. Check in was easy, room was not too clean and the microwave and refrigerator did not work and I had to contact front desk, and fix myself by pulling out refrigerator and fix the power cords. The coffee pot did not fit in properly and coffee ran everywhere. Called front desk again after the Television would not turn off and had to be unplugged. Maintence worker was also the housekeeper. Went to the pool to find that hot tub was in bad shape and not working at all and the heated pool was not heated at all. We stayed two nights and housekeeping never came and we never got fresh towels or amenities. We were really looking foreword to our stay as we have been there before. Staff was very nice. I would stay there again but would ask to look at the rooms to choose one with everything working. We didn't even have an ironing board in our room.
