Good Accommodations with Many Amenities On-Site

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: We enjoyed the Inn as a whole.
Location: The Inn is located in a secluded area with a mountain view. It is close to downtown Ojai where there are some good restaurants.
My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at the Inn and had a great time. This was our first visit. We found the accommodations to be great. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and professional. If we needed something, the staff members were quick to assist with no hesitation. The spa treatments were great as well as the staff. We could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate. We would visit again. Thank you Ojai Valley Inn and Spa!!

Outstanding stay- as usual

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: I love the privacy of the rooms, the expansive grounds and the incredible dining experiences.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Ojai is a lovely town with an eclectic mix of people and things to do. Whenever we stay at the Inn, it is just too wonderful to leave!
We have been coming to the OVI for years and each time we are delighted more than the prior visit. This visit was no exception. From the spa staff to servers and attendants, we are treated with incredible kindness and customer service.

Luxury and pampering

Posted Mar 28, 2014
Pros: Location, cheerful staff, landscaping, little nooks with fireplaces and comfy seating sprinkled throughout the resort.
Cons: Ditch the iHome alarm clocks. A peaceful holiday does not include an alarm going off at 6am. Lost a star on that one.
Location: In the town of Ojai, don't miss Rains department store. Refreshing to see so many products made in USA.
If you love to be pampered from the very moment you arrive, the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa is the place to stay. Truly a 5-diamond resort. Every staff member aims to please. Everyone you encounter is good-natured and cheerful. We had the most basic room, yet it was perfection. Beautifully appointed, with a nice balcony and view. Luxury in every way, from the bed and bath linens to the spacious size of the room. Quiet and peaceful. We participated in fitness walks, yoga class, and enjoyed the pool and hot-tub. We rented bicycles and took the bike trail to town. We had dinner at Jimmy's Grill, breakfast at Cafe Verde-- both great. The only glitch in the whole stay for us was minor but annoying. Our first morning we were suddenly awakened at 6am by the beeping iHome alarm clock on the night table. We had not set the alarm. That first day we were really looking forward to waking up naturally (big part of a relaxing vacation, right?) At 6am, I am not the best at figuring out which of a dozen buttons to press to stop the beeping. Tried to unplug the power cable to stop the thing... no power cable. Batteries. I ended up turning the thing over and taking the batteries out. By that time, we were wide-awake, couldn't get back to sleep, and it was still dark outside. A cruel joke! If you choose the Ojai Valley Inn, just make sure you take the batteries out of the iHome clock before you go to sleep, and your stay will be heavenly.

Great venue for golf

Posted Mar 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Ojai Valley Inn is a great place for golf--very well mainrained fairways and greens. Visitors should be aware that the hotel is very spread out over a number of buildings, and the parking areas are limited and not very convenient to the rooms. The person who checked us in "forgot" to mention that the elavator in our building was not in service, which made it difficult to reach our room. It was a cold night, and the room heat was not working properly. We had a very good dinner at Marav.illa

So-Cal Paradise

Pros: beautiful heated pools with the best towels. Someone is right there with ice water or whatever you would like. Room service is great too. I loved eve
Cons: Can no t see any room for improvement
Location: 15 minutes from beach at Ventura. Bike path on site to town. Close to shops and some nice little restuarants in town.
We stayed four days in February for our 30th anniversary. We checked in with very nice and helpful front desk and went to our room. We asked for a room with a better view and they sent someone over to show us two other available rooms. It was two days before Valentines Day weekend which is their busiest time though did everything possible for us. They were so helpful with anything you asked the whole stay. We did end up choosing a different room and they had someone help us move. This hotel is second to none and would recommend with highest regard. The weather was perfect during our stay as well.

nice hotel

It's the second time for me to be here. I think it's the best hotel in Ojai. You also can stay at Ventura or Santa Barbra, but it will take you more than 30 minutes to Ojai. The hotel includes a golf course and a spa. There are more than 10 standalone cottage.
