Hardly any lights inside. In the master bedroom, the lamp sat on the floor. The walls and ceilings were so thin you could hear all the neighbors around

Unit below kept me up all night.
I was in Unit 205. Unit 105 below kept me up all night. Room phone did not work, so I called the number for google. Seems the Orange tree gets transferred to the Lemon Tree. Lemon tree guy could not find noisy neighbors as he was at wrong hotel. Finally, moved to a completely different room at 4;30 am . Other neighbors were kept up too. The host was very nice, but not enough guts to either call them or knock on their door and tell them to go to sleep. I had driven 600 miles and was turning around in less than 16 hours and it was ESSENTIAL for my health and travel safety to be well rested. I will never go back. Losing an essential night of sleep is not worth it.

Good area for somewhat affordable price on a weekend, but it does has a motel feel. Walls are thin, we experienced a lot of noise early in the morning. No fridge or microwave.

As good as you can get on a budget. Beds were squeaky and walls are not insulate denough from room to room, but all other things were fine for the price.

had a metal bedframe with metal skirting that one kicked about six times a day. Sounded like kicking an oversized oil drum, very annoying. The bathroom could use an additional towel rack, but only one was available so we had to use the shower rod for towels, bathmats, etc.

The check in was not pleasant, not welcoming. Rooms are dated and worn, curtains hanging and not working, debris on the patio, very hard mattress. Worse than motel 6

Basic hotel close to State Street. Although the room was clean, there were some things left to be desired. One of the extra towels looked like it hadn't been washed well. The walls were also thin...and there was general wear and tear (weather stripping on door was coming off). It was walkable to a few places to eat, but you will most likely want a car. No frills space which was a good accommodation for a few nights.

Staff and location are great but you get what you pay for for the property. Dirty floors, bugs (probably due to the door not being sealed shut properly), and walls/floors are paper thin so you can hear everyone walking lol

The property itself was fine, but at 2:30 AM someone began banging on the door next-door to us and continued being in intermittently for an hour and a half. The office was directly below, so it’s hard to believe they did not hear anything. I packed up and was ready to leave.. After calling several times somebody finally picked up the phone. By then, I did not feel safe and I left. I needed to get some sleep somewhere else.

The property seemed ckeaned and maintained. Employees were nice and professional. The issue was the bed being old style with springs (how it felt) and the metal sheet going around the bottom preventing feet going under. As a result we hit it throughout our stay many times as a habid that made a loud sound.

Though the Inn is in a good location if you are planning to go out onto State Street, it is dirty, unkept, and uncomfortable. The beds and linens were awful. The pool towels were paper thin and not absorbent and the chaise lounges or not the kind meant to be used without cushions.

The hotel is in beautiful Santa Barbara, minutes from many wonderful restaurants and from gorgeous beaches. Our check in was fast, but we weren’t really provided any information. I guess our front desk person was not much of a talker! Our room was clean, but we did notice that although there was a coffeemaker, there was no place to plug it in. We made the coffee in the bathroom.
