Excellent hotel and a great value!

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: Staff, breakfast, location, price, television
Cons: Can't really think of anything!
Location: In Buellton, home of the famous Pea Soup Andersons, and a very short drive from Solvang!
This, apparently, is what a real Quality Inn is like! Great price, terrific location, very nice free breakfast with Belgium waffle stations, good-sized lcd television WITH hdmi inputs (great for bringing a blue-ray player!), and more. Apparently you need to ask for a microwave (I had thought it was automatically included), but that's probably my fault for not investigating thoroughly. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have someone who constantly keeps the breakfast items refilled. The owners of the Quality Inn in Camarillo could learn a lot from this place! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Great hotel/motel!

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Location: Solvang (shopping), Chumash Casino
This hotel was VERY clean and the room was nice/decent. We stayed there for one night. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The location of the hotel was close to everything - Solvang and Chumcash Casino. The staff were nice, and when they accidentally brought us lotions instead of shampoos, they came back with a "gift basket" of amenities (soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, etc). The free breakfast was decent (the sausages were really tasty, but everything else was not bad). All in all, we really liked our stay here and would recommend!

Close to Solvang, half the cost.

Was on a weekend motorcycle trip of the Solvang area. Prices in Solvang were pretty high. This fit my budget and about a 5 minute ride away.

Don't let them put you in rooms 109 and 111.

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: location, price
Cons: Sound proofing!
Room 109 and 111 sit right under the front desk and breakfast buffet. All night you here people and there is no way you will sleep past 6am with all the noise.

Good location for start/finish of Solvang Prelude

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Good location for start/finish of Solvang Prelude
Cons: See above.
Location: Lots to do in this area. Breweries, wine tasting, cycling, great scenery and climate.
Toilet ran constantly. Had to lift toilet tank lid to fix each time it was flushed. Shower was onlyluke warm. Shower faucet was defect and barely a small little tinkle would come out of it. Breakfast had no cooked eggs, only hard boiled. Otherwise, it's a very cheap hotel.

Overnight Stay for Solvang Prelude

Posted Nov 10, 2014
The Quality Inn was a great place to stay. The room was fine and the beds were good. We only needed the place for one night and it suited our needs.

Clean, quiet, comfortable bed.

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Price and value
Cons: The window didn't lock.
Location: Right off 101, Anderson's Pea Soup for dinner, we stayed here because we were on our way to a wedding in Santa Ynez.
Our room was simple, clean and the property quiet. The surroundings are dismal though. It's a sketchy walk to Anderson's Pea Soup restaurant from the hotel. This truly is a roadway, off the freeway sort of place. It was completely adequate for our stay, the staff friendly and helpful. Not a destination but provided a good place to sleep.

Durchreisehotel

Posted Oct 19, 2014

OK to stay

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: The breakfast. Nice staff.
Cons: The noise..people upstairs just walking, THE SLAMMING DOORS!!!!
Location: Good location close to Solvang, Los Olivos, Pismo Beach and the wine country.
Room was OK...staff was great. (Told there were new owners) My only real compliant was when anyone closed their door it slammed and it was VERY loud!!!! The building was being painted and so was the parking lot. It was inconvenient to have to park on the street or at the far end of the building. So next time I stay there it will look nice hopefully that door slamming will be fixed. Breakfast was good.
