Splendid!

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: room, breakfast, staff
Location: wine, wine and wine
You would not expect to see such a nice hotel in the middle of a small town of 4000 people! Perfect getaway place for couples who get along well:) Very quiet area, nice dining room with scheduled complimentary wine, desert etc. Breakfast was very nice! Staff was friendly! It was not cheap, but it was worth it!

Nice Place

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Was a nice place, like a haunted mansion but in a good way! Only disappointment was there was a razor cap and hair from shaving on the ledge of bathtub. I didn't even notice until the morning we were checking out, so I didn't bother to say anything.

Luxury in Wine Country

Posted May 15, 2014
Pros: The size of the rooms, staff attentiveness, cleanliness and location. We also liked their healthy dining options such as fruit and yogurt for breakfas
Cons: The food qualaity and preparation is not on par with the amenities offered.
Location: The hotel is within walking distances of shops and restaurants and is surrounded by local wineries.
While Santa Ynez is a small, rustic town, the Santa Ynez Inn offered us a truly luxury experience in the middle of beautiful wine country. We enjoyed a spacious room, jacuzzi tub, steam shower, and lavish bath products. The inviting wrap-around porch was the perfect place to enjoy our coffee or a glass of wine and overlook their beautiful rose garden.

Beautiful Hotel and Welcome Respite

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Luxurious room. Quality bathroom products.
Location: Wine tasting, drives, native American craft shop.
A beautiful hotel allowing you to hide away in your room and enjoy the creature comforts. Unfortunately missed the wine appreciation hour but the friendly staff were happy to provide a couple of glasses as well as a tasting plate. Will stay again.

Great Place to Relax

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Everything! It was cozy, people were helpful.... just wonderful.
Cons: People at the front desk or perhaps a more evident way of getting someone.
Location: The casino - but definitely a car is needed to enjoy the many vineyards
Fabulous hotel. Everything that was included was just great - the cocktail hour, dessert hour and made to order breakfast were delightful and delicious. I know this has nothing to do with the hotel - but even all the other guests were friendly and helpful. You never felt alone. Only fault was that there wasn't always someone at the front desk.

Only Excellent Hotel in Santa Barbara Wine Country

Posted Mar 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
If there was a "10" I would have given this hotel a 10++. What a jewel in the tiny town of Santa Ynez. Everything was beyond our expectations and we certainly will tell our friends who are travelling to California Wine Country that they MUST stay here. Excellent quality of all amenities, beautiful breakfast, courteous and helpful staff. Bravo!
