Servers needed in lounge. One person acting as bartender, host, server, manager. There was a pretty full bar and 20 seated for meals. Always have 2 on, at least. Also, we went to order more and told the cook closed kitchen to take his break. What? During dinner service hours? So, we didnt get more food. Maybe 2 cooks, too. The server wouldnt write anything down. Our party of four had 10 minutes to wait for menus, a forgotten coke ( Grandma) a forgotten cocktail ( husband) and totally skipped my Husband's Award-winning chil verde. She ordered it and it arrived after 2 entrees were eaten. Then my daughter ordered a burger but told no, cook's on break.
Had to ask for check twice. Never offered another round, coffee, or dessert. My cranberry soda was grenadine like a Shirley Temple the second time...sigh. We had a similar experience here when we came NYEve. Things could be great with adequate coverage or management touchingvtables to turn the ship around. We spent $850 on two rooms and one dinner, 2 breakfasts, one nightcap round. So, 900 plus dollars. I wish we could recommend but if it improves please call me and I will try again. The facilities are gorgeous and I shared some of this and check-in problems with management I met on prem in morning. Thanks. We love the pool and gym. Both out of towels, tho on Monday.
