accueil detestablePosted Nov 8, 2014

Delightful stayPosted Nov 1, 2014
We had a delightful stay at the Eagle Inn. The property is beautiful, our room was very comfortable and clean, staff were really friendly and helpful, we just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more relaxing time in Santa Barbara

Charming hotel close to everythingPosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Location Decor Bikes Breakfast Sheets
Cons: Bed....maybe it was just the one in our room, but it was creaky.
Location: 2 blocks to beach and bike paths. Close to State street with lots of shops and restaurants.
Arrived early and luckily room was ready so we checked in. Girlfriend loved the room upon walking in, which is rare. Hotel is easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, and shops. They also have bicycles available to use free of charge on a first come first serve basis. We snagged a couple of bikes and rode along the 'Coastal Route' path. On the ride back, we stopped at the zoo for a couple of hours without worrying about the bikes since the hotel provided a lock. Each morning, complementary breakfast is served in the dining room. It is different every day and very good! We stayed on the first floor and could hear the footsteps of the folks in the room above. The sheets were super smooth and soft, but the bed was a little creaky. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and we would definitely go back.

Hotel accueillantPosted Sep 26, 2014

A great location, quiet and convenient. Just a short walk to Stearns Wharf and the beaches of Santa Barbera

Comfortable facility, convenient location.Posted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The stay was good in all respects, but the breakfasts were a disappointment; very limited "menu", and food was very mediocre. We expected good hot, fresh food for breakfast, since it is a "Bed and BREAKFAST" inn. Again, breakfast was biggest disappointment, especially for the price.

Accueil désagréablePosted Sep 20, 2014 on Hotels.com

Private cottages walking distance to the oceanPosted Sep 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was worth the upgrade to have our own "Santa Rosa" cottage. So quiet, beautiful neighborhood, excellent location from the train station, easy walk to the ocean, delicious breakfast delivered to our room (and you choose the hour) . . . naturally a jacuzzi after all your exploring. We see why they call it, Santa Barbara the CA riviera! Front desk staff, Devin, was fabulous -- made it a perfect get-away!

Better than the HyattPosted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed part of the week at the Hyatt and the other at the Eagle Inn due to scheduling conflicts. The quality of my room and the value for the money at the Eagle Inn far exceeded the Hyatt. Of course, the amenities were not comparable, but I was not there for leisure. I would definitely stay at the Eagle Inn again!

Avon Walk 2014Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Prior stay - comfortable accommodation, near beach and restaurants.
Location: Three small streets from the ocean and all of the surprises that go with it.
Second time for Avon walk and second time for Eagle Inn. I was reserved for the Anacapa - and just sorry my time was spent w/the Avon Walk and not completely enjoying the room reserved. Next actual vacation spent in Santa Barbara = home base will be The Eagle Inn.
