Quaint and charmingPosted Aug 16, 2014
Within walking distance to cute shops and bakeries in Solvang. Clean and unique. Bed in loft was uncomfortable as mattress sunk in middle!

Okay hotelPosted Jul 26, 2014
We loved the location of the hotel; right in the middle of shops and restaurants! The hotel room was a great size and we enjoyed the ambience of the fire place. However, my husband really hated the bed. The hotel doesn't have a pool or jacuzzi and serves the same breakfast every single morning. The hotel does have an elevator, but because of the odd layout, one still must climb stairs if on the second and third floors.

Location: Lovely town, a great place to spend a few days, close enough to a lot of coastline to serve as a great base of operations. Check out 3rd Wednesday.
Very comfortable, welcoming, well located. Easy parking. Helpful staff.

Very nice hotel. Close to wine country.Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The location, staff, cleanliness.
Location: Wine tasting, shopping, lots of good bakeries.
We hadn't been to Solvang in 38 years. I think it's changed a bit ( for the better ) since then. This hotel was very pretty. We had a loft room which was very comfortable, although my husband thought the bed was too soft. It is located right in the downtown area so you could walk to all the shops, bakeries and restaurants.

Plan to return.Posted Jul 13, 2014
Cons: New air conditioners and carpets would be nice, but please don't lose the charm of your Inn.
Location: The Inn is in the heart of Solvang's many shops, wine tasting rooms and restaurants. In the evening we went to the Indian casino which is only 3 miles
We stayed in a Tower King. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything, which for someone with knee problems is important. Our room didn't have the newest of everything, but it was charming and had everything we needed. This isn't the Ritz, but then Solvang isn't New York. If you are travelling with kids, the Inn's Cottages are the place for you. At night they look like something out of a Fairy tale. We will be coming back.
