a great home base for New Mexico vacationPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: clean neat and comfortable
Besides the tasty breakfast and clean comfortable room the Casa Escondida serves as a great location to cover trips to Santa Fe, Taos (right along the High Road) , the Puye Cliffs and the Sanctuary in Chimayo. We've stayed there on two occasions and met an interesting mix of other guests. If you are lucky there is the added delight of the night sky, in rustic Chimayo there is little ambient lighting

Great breakfast, Bad bedPosted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: The setting
Great staff, location excellent, very relaxing and tranquil, nice hot tub, good coffee and breakfast. Our room was tiny though, (rented the garden room)nowhere to sit in comfort and queen bed mattress could use replacement, very small shower also.

Quiet, peacefulPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: It was away from the hussle and bussel of Santa Fe. A lot of things to see and do in the area. Close to Taos too. Excellent restaraunts close by.
Cons: We were in a room that had a detached bathroom (down the hall) which I personally did not care for. But it was still a cool place to stay.
Location: Sante Fe is 35 minutes, Taos 45 minutes. The old ranches and the wineries were good. Old town Plaza in Sante Fe is cool to walk and shop
This was the first time we stayed in a B&B. It was nice, quiet and we meet some really nice people. I was a little apprehensive at first but, it was fun. We enjoyed our stay, We will stay at this place again.

A hidden gemPosted Jul 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was a very cute bed and breakfast with a great breakfast and wonderful management. Loved it. It was also very convenient to Gorham scout ranch. Note: locate it during the day......it is very hidden!

A Romantic Getaway for TwoPosted May 27, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast
Location: Secluded location off of a county road. You would have no idea that it was there.
Outstanding service and amenities. Location is awesome. I would very strongly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to get away from it all. Staff was very courteous. They made my family feel right at home. Bring your camera. An assortment of birds flocked each day to feed upon the numerous feeders. I am including a few pictures from our stay.

Lovely property - surrounding neighborhood is not. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Service was great.

great B&B - sketchy neighborhoodPosted Aug 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Loved sitting on our patio drinking wine and watching the hummingbirds. Not so fond of the police stopping every car on the road asking for license and registration, or the barred service desk at the nearest liquor store. Suggest you get your wine in Santa Fe before you come and then just staying put. It's a great place to stay, but not so great to drive around in.

Try it, you'll love itPosted Aug 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
It was a relaxing location in the country. We were able to easily travel to Ghost Ranch and Abiquii, Santa Fe, Oho Caliente and Bandolier. The room was well designed and tastefully decorated and the breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed the evening snacks that were provided. The freedom to move around like it was your own home was enjoyable.Belinda was helpful in giving us information about the local sites.
