“Good place for a bed at the price in Santa Fe”
Very clean lobby, halls, and hotel room. Greeted warmly by the desk clerk. Nice to have warm, freshly baked cookies and fresh coffee throughout the day as a little, but pleasant perk. Comfortable bed and that's REALLY what we were looking for.
“Decent hotel.”
We stayed just one night on our way home from Arizona. The suite we were in had a couch, table, and several chairs which was nice. We walked across the street for dinner, and there is shopping in the area. The place was clean and kept up.
“OK Santa Fe”
The cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable. However, we were disappointed that the Comfort Suites was not very "suite"-like. We have young children and prefer to have two bedrooms for better sleeping accommodations. The "suite," though, was really just one long room with a small counter dividing the room into two areas, one with a small kitchen and fridge. Also, the continental breakfast was poor quality and unsatisfying.
“Great for Cerrillos Rd. location”
Very comfortable hotel, have stayed there twice. Beds are great!
“Sante Fe's best kept secret”
We were on a several week tour of the west this summer and while heading back east we spent a night here. It turned out to be the best accommodations we had for the entire vacation! Comfortable, clean, and accommodating. Wish we had planned to stay another night and see more of Santa Fe!
“It was ok but if I had another choice I would use it.”
I had 2 problems-I'm a nut about bedclothes and the blanket on our bed had a dirty spot and we were in a non-smoking room but there was a small burn hole in it. Also, the male housekeeper wouldn't stop tapping on our door until I actually answered it-it was 9:30 in the morn-we even had the room booked for another nite. I finally had to say we didn't want housekeeping at all so he would go away. He didn't speak English very well . I went to the desk later and asked to have our room made up. June
“Excellent choice of lodging, I will be back.”
Santa Fe is a wonderful city, and this is a wonderful base from which to explore it. Staff was courteous, room was large and clean. I had read a traveler's guide that Santa Fe service personnel were rude and brusk, this was absolutly not the case at this hotel. It was a lovely stay, a lovely City, a lovely vacation. I'll definitely be back, I saved this addy and phone in my contacts list.
“Nice quiet hotel with great serivce.”
The hotel staff was extremely helpful, and went out of their way to help me out when I got there. The door to my room was stuck, so the woman at the desk left to help me get the door open. The room, once I got inside, was very comfortable, clean, and the bed was very comfortable and I got a great night of sleep.
“Old Hotel not well kept”
Although the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very unimpressive. The room was okay but someone was smoking in the hotel, which was supposed to be all non-smoking, and you could smell it in the bathroom the worst. It was like standing next to someone smoking. Whoever was smoking did so at night and first thing in the morning. I let the hotel staff know but it did not change. The pool was in bad shape and cloudy. The jacuzzi was stinky. The free breakfast in the morning was a mess. It was not well set up. People had to reach over one another. There was only one waffle maker so there was a huge line for the waffle maker. The breakfast area is small and hot. This was our last night at a Hotel for our 10 day vacation. I was sooooo glad it was only one night and we left asap on Sunday morning. So disappointing after all the other places we had stayed during our trip.
“Nice place to stay in Santa Fe (hey it rhymes)”
Nice place to stay. We were ther for two nights and found it very comfortable and quiet and not too far from the historic district. The breakfast was nothing special but adequate. It was nice to have the sleeper sofa since we had five people in one room. It was a little crowded but not too bad. If you have an elderly person, the bath does have good grab bars to hold on to. It also has an elevator which is nice for the elderly.
