“Did we stay at the same hotel??????”

Was really worried after reading other opinions. Must have changed management. DID NOT encounter ANY of the negitive comments. Even stayed another day. Have no problems with recommending this hotel.

“The review”

For the cost and category, I think this was a fine hotel.

“Not impressed”

Hotel is one of the few chain hotels in area; I would rate this hotel at two stars. The room we had included a refrigerator and micro-wave. It is always booked to the max, so traffic is constant and noisy. It is a bit on the shabby side but OK.

“Not on Par with other two star motels”

We chose this motel for an overnight stay to visit family. The benefit was proximity to our family's location. We wouldn't choose this motel if we were on a vacation - 1 - 1 1/2 stars, maybe.

“It was all right...”

...but nothing that great. There is not a whole lot to choose from in Espanola. I was in town for a spiritual retreat, so all I needed was a bed. For that, it was okay. Beds were clean, convenient location. Laundromat 1 block away. Get a room in the back, because the street is very noisy. I was there for 4 nights, and for some reason, my key never worked in the evenings when I came home. Employee at front desk smoked, filled lobby with tobacco smoke smell. Limited channels on TV. On plus side, felt safe there as a solo female traveler, fairly quiet in rear, friendly staff. However, If you are looking for something fancy, or want atmosphere or amenities, stay in Santa Fe, and find yourself something nicer.

“Priced pretty high”

We enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn in Espanola, NM, however, we felt the price was pretty high in comparison to the other Days Inn Hotels we stay in all over the United States.

“Satisfactory”

This motel was not our favorite but was satisfactory. Very poor location for entering into the motel's entryway when coming from the west. Price was fair.

“Ok, for a one night stay!”

The staff was pleasant, the room was clean. Other guests smoked outside the room and the smell was bad!
