Nice hotel close to everything. We walked around town, to shops and restaurants. Room (delux king , 2nd floor)was ok but a little dreary and plain, would have liked to upgrade to a room with balcony or terrace and some kind of view, but none available. Cold Infused water in lobby for guests was a nice touch also free bottled water from the desk . Had lunch and a breakfast in Agave lounge , both were tasty. Parking rental car in their garage was a little pricey and unexpected at $24 a day.

Tired hotel that needs renovation and improvements

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Its location.
Cons: Value for price. There is no consistency.
Location: Santa Fe is a nice town.
Too expensive for an old and not clean room. This is not a $ 425 / night room. I didn't like the hotel nor its restaurant.

Luxurious hotel on the Plaza

Posted Jul 14, 2014
My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Northern New Mexico. The plaza and wonderful restaurants such as Galisteo's Bistro are all within easy walking distance. The room was clean and spacious (we took a single King), and the rooftop pool/jacuzzi was very nice. One thing, the service at the front desk could have been better. I called down for the valet to bring my car and they didn't forward the request to the service. Also, I was annoyed that there were only two-three kleenex in the room as they didn't check the box. Overall, though, great location and nice facilities.

Close To Action

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Food. Comfort. Quiet. East access.
Cons: Suck the dust out of the wall/floor corners. Better quality toilet paper, got tired of using our hands. Better inform desk staff on microwave avail.
The hotel is in a very good location for shopping, eating, museums, getting married, and creating your own walking tour each day.

Nice hotel in downtown Santa Fe

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: In easy walking distance of all the downtown activities.
Cons: The Eldorado is showing it's age, especially in the guest rooms. But it is still a good choice!
Location: Close to all the shops in downtown Santa Fe. Santa Fe has lots of cafe's & restaurants.
Enjoyable stay. Hotel was nice, comfortable & convenient. Would stay there again.
