Nice Hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness, the quietness and the friendliness. Nice layout, and very nice breakfast.
Cons: Our only issue was the the mattresses were a little to firm for us.
Location: We liked the location, but did not use any of the nearby ameneties.
It was on older hotel, but very clean and nice. The room was spacious and quiet. The bathroom was roomy and very clean. The linens were very nice. We called ahead and said we would be early, and wondered if there was somewhere we could get ready for a birthday party at 3:00pm.. They had our room ready for us. Would definetly stay there again.

Nice hotel near Bandelier National Park

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Cons: Check-in and housekeeping procedures.
The room was fine and the breakfast was good. We had an extremely slow check-in as they did not have our reservation until they finally located the FAX from Expedia. Then they couldn't find us a clean room as the housekeeping staff hadn't marked off which rooms were ready--it took three tries to find a room for us. Normally check-in goes very quickly when you have a confirmation for your reservation, but this time it took them at least 20 minutes to finally hand over a room key. Our confirmation email said that check-in could be done beginning at 4 p.m. We arrived after 4 p.m., but the housekeeping staff still had carts in the hallway and were still cleaning rooms.

Very comfortable stay. Good breakfast. Wifi worked in our room despite the printed information stating that it was not available outside the lobby.

Close to Bandalier Ntl. Monument

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Great location, quiet, quiet, quiet. Happy hour with snacks that could be turned into small dinner.
Cons: Breakfast was the usual, but this place is so nice, it would be better with bacon or sausage every day.
Location: Had great weather and enjoyed exploring Bandalier, learning about local history. Great hiking and the views are spectacular.
Very happy with hotel, as it was close to the park and we had quick access for three days. Room was so comfortable, fresh and crisp, located at the end of the hall in a quiet corner. It's in a beautiful little community of friendly people and great view of the mountains to the east. Staff was accommodating, and eager to find more local information for us. We even got their recommendations on what to see next time we visit.

Hampton Inn near Bandolier

The rooms were great! Clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We used the Wifi easily. We walked to a very good restaurant right nearby. And we loved the breakfasts being offered. some of my group are vegan and there were excellent offerings at breakfast that totally met their dietary needs. Plus non-vegan foods were available too. Great place.

Location confusion

Posted Sep 26, 2014 on Hotels
Our trip was several ladies on vacation. Although address was Los Alamos, the hotel was actually located in adjacent White Rock, New Mexico. Since we arrived in the area after dark, we had difficulty locating the hotel which caused great confusion and a lot of driving around after a long day.
