"Perfect location in Santa Fe."
I recently stayed for four nights - beautiful room with lovely Southwestern decor. The "Luminaria" restaurant is not to be missed - particularly in the summer when you can dine outside - very nice in the winter also with the fireplace - delicious food and gracious wait staff. Front desk clerks, parking attendants, concierge, housekeeping - all helpful and caring. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will stay there again - have stayed here several times. When I lived in Santa Fe, we ate there often. The bar area has live entertainment.

"Comfortable, close to everything"
This B & B has 65 units spread over several buildings with a rich history. Our room was nicely appointed. Shower showed some age in the tile corners, but everything else was great. The staff was FANTASTIC. They were accommodating, kind and friendly. They were all invested in their guests having a good time. Breakfast had live music, full-on omelets, fresh fruit, waffles, muffins and made to order coffee, espresso, latte etc. warm baked cookies in the afternoon. The grounds were quiet and clean. We felt very safe, as there were all women in our party. Someone was always available if you needed something. The windows opened to let fresh air in, and the AC did a great job of keeping us comfortable. There were places to sit outside to visit and relax. If we go back to Santa Fe, we will definitely stay here!

"Perfect iconoclastic location near the Plaza"
This little jewel is the perfect spot for a Santa Fe visit. It is just 2, maybe 3 blocks from the plaza in the heart of the city. We found the informal check in and check out procedure refreshing... nothing to sign, no credit cards to run (granted, we had pre-booked with expedia). Just get your room code, and move in. This little boutique hotel is quite different than the "BIG" hotel experience... no restaurant, no grand entrance nor large lobby, no phone, and, presumably, no room service. But who needs or wants any of that useless stuff. Most travelers today just want a quite, nicely decorated homey room with a small refrig and coffee, and wireless access. check, check, and check. Oh, and don't worry about getting the special password for the wireless access... none is required. Just boot up and start surfing. And with more cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, etc within a couple of block walking distance than you could shake a stick at, what's not to like? If we had any complaint, it would be the lack of any hotel-owned parking, so guests are on their own for that. We were able to park every night right in front, on the street (free from 6 PM on), but in busier times that might not be an option. Otherwise, plan on $20/day for the public garage just next door (not sure if that allows multiple ingress/egress) Next time we return to Santa Fe (and we surely will), without question this is exactly where I'd want to stay again.

"Excellent except for some street noise"
Check in went well. Parking the first night was easy. The room was beautiful and had lots of nice amenities. A refrigerator, robes, excellent bedding, and a nice selection of toiletries. Street noise was a small problem -- mostly motorcycles, but they did not come by very often. The location is great. It is a short walk to all of the interesting places such as the plaza, O'Keefe museum, St Francis Cathedral, many restaurants, etc. Breakfast and afternoon tea/sherry were very good too.
