Decent pet friendly hotel, close to townPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pet policy is a bit draconian - you can never leave your pet in the room unattended. Also there was additional $19 a day fee for services we never used - I felt like I was getting nickled and dimed everywhere we turned. The gym, free morning coffee and pool were decent.

Front desk staff - terrible and not helpfulPosted Jul 21, 2014
Our rooms were not ready when we arrived and when we asked for a late checkout, it was declined. I think the rooms were overpriced for the amenities. Pool (towels) were not maintained. Although we paid a "resort fee" - it did not feel like a resort. I would not recommend this place. Try the local B&Bs; much better value.

ExcellentPosted Jul 17, 2014
Cons: That the continental breakfast be for all levels of room rates
Location: Well it is Santa Fe, great restaurants, art galleries, tons of shopping to do. The hotel has a shuttle to take you were you want to go.
The experience at this hotel starts the minute you get to the front desk and it just gets better by the second. We were on the first floor and as there was no ice maker on that floor the bar filled our request for ice even for the cooler. The pool is clean and tidy, Lots of lounge chairs, the rooms are spacious and clean. There are two people that we identified as over and above what they needed to do were Birdie the events coordinator and Frances at the front desk.

A cosy, comfortable hotel with neat detailsPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Wifi did not work properly.
This is a well appointed hotel with a lovely Native American. Indian feel and influence. It is comfortable, good location, service was good, food was good at Amaya. We had a great stay!

Nice, but...Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Nothing special
Cons: The room cleaning...my room wasn't cleaned
Location: Many hotels are close the the town center (the plaza), but not this one
The hotel is too far from the action, the facilities are dated and the hotel seems to be understaffed...especially in the cleaning area

Pleasant StayPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Nice atmosphere, relaxing bar area and good restaurant.
Cons: Pool! We did not feel comfortable using this area since the pool and the patio is so small. You are right on top of each other and the other guests.
Location: If you have a car, drive to "Tent Rocks". It's a National Park about 50 minutes out of Santa Fe. It was a great hike and just beautiful.
We stayed two nights and enjoyed the hotel. Although there is no coffee maker in the room, they prepare a morning coffee service each morning and have it set up on each individual floor for you. It was great. The front desk staff was always willing to assist and was very friendly.

Will returnPosted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the little English cars that took us to the Chapels and Museums.
Cons: Sign in employee at front desk at the SPA seemed somewhat out of character from the rest of the helpful friendly staff. She was cold and snobby.
Location: The hotel was close to what we wanted to do. We visited the Loretto Chapel with the "floating staircase", St. Francis cathedral and many museums.
We arrived before the 4 pm check in time and were greeted by a friendly front desk employee who said our room we had booked was not ready but then upgraded us to a better room that was. Our whole stay at Santa Fe Inn and Spa continued to amaze us at every turn how well we were taken care of. We found the shuttle to our destinations to be an amazing way to get around town being in a unfamiliar city.

Cons: Could use more than just wooden blinds on bedroom window, intense NM sun will wake you up
Very comfortable, just out of busy state capitol/plaza area, small hotel feel. Great bed. Could use more than just wooden blinds on bedroom window, intense NM sun will wake you up. Partner had a massage 120/hr which was very nice. a little too cool to use hot tub. will stay there again.
