Top floor perfection

Posted Apr 22, 2015
We had a top floor room and it was perfect. The floor creaks a bit so try to get the top floor. The restaraunt has the best breakfast for blocks. Romantic. Highly recommended for the price (under $175).

Beautiful and charming hotel in an ideal location

Posted Apr 8, 2015
The hotel was culturally relevant and architecturally magnificent. The room was clean and cozy and the staff was wonderful. The location was ideal for walking the city and exploring Santa Fe. I would highly recommend it and I know where staying next time I go to that beautiful city!

Nice hotel, really loud bar

Posted Mar 25, 2015
While the hotel was very nice and centrally located, the room was tiny and the bar downstairs incredibly loud. There is not a door to the bar and the stairwells are all open, so you will be kept up late with the bar customers whether you wish it or not.

Good location downtown

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Location in center of Santa Fe
Cons: I guess the rooms are the way the are, and more expensive rooms are probably larger.
The hotel was very good but our room was quite small, with not much room to put our luggage. Bathroom was pretty small too. But the location was great and the overall hotel looked nice.

Authentic architecture

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Authentic pictures in room hallways
Cons: Lighting in the rooms, especially the bath area.
Pleasant stay at the hotel. The bar area was crowded both nights we were there and only a single bartender on duty each night; however, both women did an excellent job getting drinks to everyone.

Shawnti at the front desk was very helpful and persistent in solving a billing request. Even after I left the hotel, she was sure to follow up via email that my issues had been resolved to my satisfaction.

Great location small rooms

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Restaurant, location and parking.
Cons: There needs to be a chair that you can sit in for a long period in the room. A simple ergonomic desk chair would work.
Location: This is right by the square and walking distance from almost everything.
First the good part. The location is great. Parking on premises. Wonderful restaurant and good bar. The downside to the hotel is I was there for one night on business and the room did not have comfortable chair to work in. I asked at the desk and they brought a table and chair but it was a stiff backed wood chair with a little padding. Fortunately, I did not have to work for any long period as it would have been very hard. For a vacation the room was a little small for more than a day or two. It would make a good romantic getaway as the restaurant was excellent and the bed was good.
