"Best place to stay in Santa Fe"
We absolutely LOVED the property, location, design, and especially the staff! Rachel couldn't have been better informed, more professional, and just plain nicer! She lives in a pueblo very near, and is very proud of her heritage and culture. It was so great for her to share with us, and that made our stay. The room was wonderfully decorated - in the Santa Fe style. We had terra cotta tile floors with hand-cut and hand-painted tiles for baseboards. The bathroom tiles were beautiful as well. We were very impressed with the detail in the decor, and especially the dried red chili peppers decorating the towels. Nice touch! When we arrived, we only planned on a 2-night stay, but once we met Rachel, and saw the room, we immediately decided to make it a 3-night stay. Breakfast was real food, too. I made myself a breakfast burrito with eggs, sausage, beans, and chili verde every morning, but I could have had steel-cut oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, etc. When you stay there, make sure and tell Rachel hello for me, OK?

"Great location"
Within walking distance to plaza and restaurants, very friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Internet is very slow-was unusable in my room and barely usable in the lobby. When I mentioned it to staff they expressed concern as they had just had it serviced

"Quaint, European feel. "
We usually don't spend this much for a hotel room but decided to splurge this one night. Glad we did. Hotel had a very warm, old European feel. Outside the balcony, there were window boxes with real flowers! Room was very nicely appointed. We will always remember the ambience, which is worth the extra bucks. Food was very good and staff very accommodating.

"Very Nice! Great Energy! "
Loved the Indian Art, the service was excellent! The staff was very accommodating! The Spa was a great spot for R & R. I enjoyed the night tuck down with the Chocolates on my bed, a nice touch before bed. The 5:00 wine & cheese was fun!

"Nice hotel in a great location"
This was our first stay at this hotel and our first stay in Santa Fe, NM. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Interstate, but also because it was located next to an outlet mall. We prefer hotels where restaurants and shopping are within walking distance so we were pleased this one.

"Charm and personality"
El Rey is full of charm: flowering gardens, meandering paths and a wonderful old fashion feeling. It's a little worn down and not for you if prefer modern hotels. But it's lovely and quirky, a very welcome change from cookie cutter chains.

"Loved Marcy suites and would come back"
Stayed in the Marcy suites in Santa Fe and loved it. We stayed on the last leg of our west trip. By the time we got to Santa Fe we were ready to relax. Marcy was just the place we needed. Plenty of room to relax after being holed up in tiny hotels along the way. The condo we stayed in was in great shape, clean and only a 7 minute walk from old town plaza in Santa Fe. Bed was very comfy and we liked the decor.

Las Palomas

"A great place to stay."
Las Palomas is a great bed & breakfast style hotel within walking distance to the Plaza and too many to mention good restaurants near by. The room is very traditional "Santa Fe" style, really calling it a room is not precise, it is more like a mini condo. Our deluxe Studio included a king size bed, couch and sitting area, dresser and a small kitchenette (but no stove). The studio also has a wonderful wood burning fireplace. Of course there is free wifi as well. The all inclusive free breakfast is really a nice plus. Their staff prepare to order, omelettes, waffles and coffee drinks, like cappuccino, latte, espresso. There are many other quality breakfast foods as well. The people who manage and run Las Palomas really know their business and know how to treat their guests. Very friendly, fun and helpful with suggestions regarding our stay in Santa Fe.
