B&B Near the Center of Santa Fe

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: This is a well appointed B&B with charm and in the right location to tour Santa Fe by foot. The breakfast is excellent with good presentation.
Cons: There are only two things missing as far as I can see (1) no hot tub and (2) rather short check-in hours (4-6 pm) when staff is around.
Location: Downtown old Santa Fe is easily accessible by foot.
I've stayed at the Inn on the Paseo twice in the last two years. It is an upscale B&B near the heart of Santa Fe's Center, just a few blocks from the Plaza and at the foot of Fort Marcy. One major reason to stay in Santa Fe is to feel the hundreds of years of history and culture of the old town. The Inn allows that to happen easily. Park your car in the back and do the rest on foot. The Inn is actually several historic houses that have been combined into a rambling complex with several living room like areas, a dinning room and downstairs refrigerator, with counters and ice. There are nice decks around the rear of the hotel so dining can be outside or in. The rooms are a little small, but well equipped with wonderful beds. The breakfast is outstanding and their are some snacks and coffee/tea throughout the day.

Great location and homey, comfortable inn

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: Everything! Pete who filled when Terry and Kathryn were off duty, was also very friendly and a veritable font of knowledge about the Santa Fe area.
Location: The Inn is located about three or four blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza. It is an easy walk with lots of interesting places to eat and shop.
The owners,Terry and his wife Kathryn, were very welcoming and accommodating. Terry has a passion for gourmet food and the breakfasts were amazing. Good quality tea and coffee is available anytime. Our room was a nice size with a table and chairs on the balcony. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The Santa Fe flavor of the decor was lovely. The Inn truly felt like a home away from home!

A gem

Pros: Location, style and friendliness.
Location: All of Central Santa Fe is within an easy walk, couldn't be better
We booked this B&B because we wanted somewhere within walking distance of the Plaza and without parking charges. We got far more than this - the Inn is beautifully decorated and furnished and the family and staff are delightful. Breakfasts were good and served in a family type setting. A very comfortable and charming place to stay.

Comfortable B & B close to town

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Location, felt comfortable and homey.
Cons: Breakfast could be better, they served mini scones, cold cuts, cereal, salad.......good but not what I expected or wanted.
Location: Close to Santa Fe (4 blocks) with all the Native shopping, restaurants and museums.
Nice clean room, friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful porch, we sat and enjoyed the evening with our wine and snacks. We walked to town and walked to dinner. Nice!

-Don't expect to check in before 4PM ... and that's alright, just difficult if you don't want to spend the day with luggage in your car. -We were there in the middle of winter, the room was cold, the bathroom was even colder. -I'm 6' tall, the shower head was below my shoulder [don't think this doesn't matter]. -I conserve water, but the shower is a fine mist, very uncomfortable. -The bathroom sink was stopped up, which brought up lots of other visitor's dirt, taking forever to drain, leaving me feeling rather uncomfortable about using it. -If you have allergies, this place is not for you. -I don't think I would stay here again. On the Positive side: -Comfortable daily rates. -Pleasant surroundings ... -Secondary private entrance and porch, which would be great in the summer ... -Shower basket [shampoo, conditioner, etc.] where generous and easy to use ... -Snacks & Games available at night ... -Pleasant breakfast ... -Great quiet location ... -Rather tight but FREE parking ... -Easy walking distance to the center of Santa Fe with treasures along the way ...

Very enjoyable stay Rooms very small with no chest of drawers for clothes. However, great bed and pleasing decor. Many amenites that make it a great place to stay. We will definitely return. Rooms are reasonably priced. Home made cookies were a special treat

Quaint B&B in walking distance from the Plaza

Posted Oct 19, 2013
This is a lovely little (16 rooms) Inn, which features a delicious hot breakfast, served at your table. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. The staff are pleasant, but not always available. The back deck views the sunset. Late afternoon brings homemade cookies or pastry. There is a self service coffee machine which can make latte or capucino. It was a pleasant stay, particularly because of its proximity to the attractions of Santa Fe

Everything we could ask for!

Our stay at The Inn on the Paseo was relaxing and enjoyable. The service was top notch, and more than that, they went above and beyond to honor us as we celebrated our anniversary. The Inn is very conveniently located in Santa Fe, most everywhere we wanted to go we could by walking. And if we wanted to go out of the area, the folks made us specific maps and gave suggestions. I would recommend The Inn to anyone, you will be pleased that you stayed there!
