“La Fonda Fun”

We liked it a lot. Everyone was very friendly. We felt the room was a little small but otherwise it was a great stay at your hotel. Very handy for the St. Francis Basilica, which is a wonderful church.

“A pleasant stay in Santa Fe”

The concierge service was most helpful in providing local information to help plan our days and to obtain superb tickets for a concert the next day. When I left a small box in my room, I called the hotel two days later, got to talk to a real person who knew what they were doing, was told they had the box and would send it to me the next business day. Meals in the hotel were a pleasure. We also appreciated the shops located in the hotel as well. A unique hotel with a very accommodating staff in a great location.

“One Night Getaway”

My wife and I are from Albuquerque and drove up to Santa Fe for a concert and stayed at the La Fonda, our second visit. If you want a truely New Mexican experience this is the place. A beautiful "old world" hotel with everything you would expect of a historic hotel on the plaza. Perfect in every way!

“Old World Charm in Fantastic Location”

We upgraded to a deluxe king room so had plenty of room with the separate seating area and large window overlooking the street. Charming - hand painted furniture and decorative touches in rooms and in hallways. Art deco tile in old bathroom. Everything worked great - was old, but not rundown. Excellent food in dining room and separate lunch-buffet area doubles as lounge area at night with live music and dancing (no cover). Restaurants and drinks were very affordable compared to other places we ate in town. Fireplaces are constantly tended, lots of great public seating areas to gather, and fantastic people watching. Walk across the street to the plaza and museums, and it's just a few blocks to Canyon Road with the art galleries. If the weather's bad you can visit a dozen shops or so within the hallways of the hotel. Rooftop bar for sunset watching (not open in winter.) Heated pool, hot tub, and nice spa area (didn't use the services, but is set up nicely). Dozens of very good restaurants within 2-3 blocks. Been staying here for nearly 30 years and still love it everytime. Bedding is wonderful- very comfortable with down comforter and pillows. TV system sucks, but you should never get bored enough in this town to have to turn it on. If you like old world charm, stay here. If you want a modern sterile room without any personality go somewhere else.

“Perfect Location”

Perfect location, so many restaurants and shops in walking distance. The hotel truly had a New Mexico feel with the decor, and the Bell Tower was perfect for sunset drinks. The staff was very attentive, especially the concierge. And the restaurant was so good that we ate their twice.

“Great Stay”

Well worth the money, perfect location. Staff was friendly. Only comment is 5:00 am trash trucks outside on the street. But a minor inconvenience. Stayed in Room 274 which was a balconey suite about the size of a small house. Had complete kitchen, two TV's, separate bedroom area, two fire places. Beautiful room. Close to parking garage, which was convenient, but no noise from the garage. Pool area was nice. Perfect stay.
