Old Santa Fe Inn June 2013
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: See previous comments.
Cons: See previous comments.
Location: Very close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and the Plaza. Museums close too.
Walking distance to Plaza, comfortable bed, clean, helpful staff (thank you Danny), nice room layout with sink and mirror separate from bath, Starbuck's and lemonade and chips and salsa free in lobby. Only negatives were the only views on the main level were of the parking lots, the bathtub was slow to drain (although we did not report this), and the free breakfast was only fair.

Good location, nice breakfast, and a bit pricey
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Breakfast on the patio.
Cons: Room and furnishings did not justify the high price.
Location: Conveniently near the plaza and NM state capital.
We had a nice and spacious room, but it was not the "suite" we were expecting. There was one luggage rack and nowhere to park another suitcase. Breakfast was nice, and the outdoor patio with a little fountain makes a very pleasant spot to enjoy it. The desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The stroll to the plaza is a short one. The main problem was simply that we paid a high price expecting a better "suite."

Pros: Proximity to centre of town
Cons: Slow wifi access in thebedroom
For my wife and I this was a second stay after a very enjoyable stay last year. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Santa Fe and has all the facilities we required. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice to stay.

Location: Great location, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza.
The staff, breakfast and room were very nice. I felt out room was a little dark as it was an inner corner room, but it did have a window. We were in walking distance to the heart of Santa Fe which was a plus.

Comfortable hotel
Posted Jan 12, 2013
The heater was not functioning, but the walls of our room were thick enough that the temp never varied and the room was comfortable as we watched the snow blow all around us. This is an older hotel but well keeled and comfortable.

Welcoming small hotel very near the center
Posted Jan 10, 2013
The Inn has been converted from a motel but in the process has been given a very pleasant and different character and feel. As others mention, the room was somewhat small, with only two single beds for a twin room, but the beds and linens were of very good quality. Other details, such as the high quality of the breakfast buffet, the very attentive staff, the comfortable lobby with comfortable seating and good tea and coffee , and the unusually good wifi made for a very pleasant stay. Even the parking area has been nicely planted and planned. The location is excellent.

Hotel with local ambiance
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Location: Great location, easy walk to the plaza.
You really get a feel for Santa Fe style at this hotel. The dining room where breakfast is served has a kiva fireplace and the viva-beamed ceiling. Breakfast was great - a burrito bar with red and green sauce and eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, melon and more. Rooms are a little small, but the location is great. It's an easy walk to the plaza and all the sites.

Great hotel to access downtown sante Fe.
Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Breakfast and Cleanliness
Cons: Size of bathroom
Location: Great location to walk downtown and not have to drive.
When we arrived the staff was very friendly and helped us with a lot of questions about the area. Room and hotel were clean and well cared for . Inn location was within easy walking distance of the downtown area. Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room used real silverware(not plastic) with cloth napkins. Really made you feel good about the hotel choice.
