Could've been cleaner

Posted Feb 20, 2015
I stayed here because I wanted a room with a fridge and microwave. When I got to my room, the carpet was filthy in some spots, the bathroom floor smelled like dirty feet, and the counter had dried foam(?) near the sink. I had to wipe it down before putting my stuff on it. I certainly would pay more if they put the extra effort into housekeeping.

OK hotel close to shopping.

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Location and Price.
Cons: Water pressure. Beds and television need updated.
Location: Plenty of shopping and things to do.
First room was disgusting. Had not been cleaned, trash everywhere and smelled as if someone burnt steak. Asked for different room. New room was clean. Walls are paper thin, every word of every conversation from any of your neighbors can be heard. Shower was warm but no pressure.

Bring your own bedding

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: It has a well equipped kitchen and it is affordable.
Cons: As stated above update bedding
Location: The location is good.
Could be really nice. Need to update the bedding as it is very old and scary. The figurate in my room made a horrible clanking noise when it turned off. I reported the problem and was told it was fixed. It was not fixed and kept me up all night.

2night stay

Posted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Liked the location and the very helpful staff.had a very nicely set up kitchen area to use.
Cons: Handicap room could have been a smidge bigger to improve comfort
Location: Grocery store in walking distance, several Chinese restruarants on site and was right there by the medical facility we needed.
Check in was easy, staff friendly. We got a handicap room as we needed that. The room was clean, only thing that wasn't too great was the handicap bathroom had a bathtub and not a shower so it was of no use to us. A shower would have worked, not a tub. The mattresses on the beds were kinda uncomfortable and lumpy but otherwise fine. Having a recliner type chair would have made the room a bit better, though it would have been slightly crowded but would have fit and made the stay a little better for my 84 year old mom. Overall was a very quiet and pleasant stay for 2 nights and the price and service was fine. Would use this hotel again.

Nice location

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Arrived on snow covered day no one to clear walks, ice always falling on walkways
Location: easy access to downtown, mall, museums
Rm 818 is under regulars so noisy mornings, plumbing not working properly, heater stopped working second night, rooms smaller than expected.

Good location at a good price

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Friendlier staff
Location: It's in a plaza with shops and restaurants to check out.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, a bit old but not bad. They are very doable for the price and the location is great. A shopping plaza, restaurants, and a grocery store all just a quick walk away. Also not far from bigger shopping districts

Achieved with short notice

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Convenience to shopping and Christi St Vincent hospital.
Cons: Vet the cleaning staff.
Location: Spent my time at the hospital.
The Suites were fine and the rooms were clean. It was a little difficult to get to the suites at first, but once there it was easy after that. I rated the staff as OK because I left my ditty bag in the bathroom when I checked out. I called shortly thereafter and I was told the cleaning staff would turn in the bag if they found it. The cleaning staff claimed it wasn't there. I had prescription drugs in the bag and so I'm thinking the worst. The rest of the staff was very helpful. Ken

Poorly managed hotel

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: N/A
Cons: Hotel management. They need to make sure that their rooms aren't double booked.
Location: Downtown Santa Fe
We had booked our reservation three months ahead upon arrival when it turns out the hotel had booked our room to someone else. The hotel was unable to accommodate us since they had no rooms available.

Stop-over on the way through

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Room layout
Cons: A driveway straight off the highway into the parking lot.
Location: Neighbors a little shopping center with a grocery store, Subway, etc. Close to I-25, right off of a secondary highway.
Very tricky to find. If you can get it in one shot without missing a turn, let me know what navigation system you are using. Stayed in a 1 queen plus a sleeper sofa with the kichenette...it was simple, had a little local feel to the decor, but had a nice comfy feel to it. The mattress could be replaced, but after driving 14 hours and stepping out on a COLD night, getting into that warm room (they had the heater going for us), and crawling into bed was awesome. If we were ever staying in Santa Fe for a week or two, we would definitely stay here.
