Comfortable but not the Cleanest

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: location, price, felt safe, quiet
Cons: need to clean the upholstery and walls
Location: many pueblos, Bandelier National Park, history, mountains, museums - no shortage of things to do
Mostly clean, but there were handprint stains on the wall near the bed all 3 days, the couch was stained, there was evidence of quite a bit of repaired water damage. Room was a little dark with all the lights on (pulled the lampshade off to see better). Kitchenette well stocked to cook and clean, with grocery store in walking distance. Towels removed and washed before replacing (no midday showers if you don't save a towel). Breakfast area has stained chairs. Computer available.

Very Nice place, very comfortable:)

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: clean and comfortable:)
Cons: lighting.
Location: Santa FE is a great funky place. I'm from Las Cruces, so really it was just New Mexico to me, lol but its a lot of fun.
went with my mom on my birthday trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. I was a housekeeper for four years and I know how hard it is, and the housekeepers aren't slacking:) The only thing was the room needed more lighting:) otherwise free wifi....mom and I were happy:)

Nice hotel for what it's worth

Posted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: It felt like you were staying in your very own studio apartment. It could be a really cute place with a little remodel.
Cons: Update the rooms
Location: Easy access to I-25 and close to downtown Santa Fe
Cute hotel with a studio apartment feel. A little out dated, but not bad. There is a kitchenette in the room with cooking utensils. At least with a longer stay, you wouldn't have to eat out all the time. Albertsons is located within walking distance makes it nice to pick up groceries if needed. The staff was pleasant and helpful if you have questions about the area. As I said, the rooms are outdated and are in need of an upgrade, but for an overnight stay, it wasn't bad. The only thing was that some of the pillows needed to be replaced as one we had was so flat it needed to be folded over to be used. I was actually questioning why housekeeping didn't toss it and replace it with a new one because it was unacceptable in my book. I could have asked the front desk for a replacement, but it was late when we arrived and I just wanted to go to sleep. Beds were a bit bouncy too. Breakfast is basic only offering oatmeal, cereal, toast, Danishes and pre-made French toast that needed to be reheated in the toaster. If your looking for a bargain hotel and not expecting anything more than a place to put your head down, I would recommend it and would stay again if passing through the area.

Very Santa Fe in design!

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: ---the Santa Fe style ---the cleanliness
Cons: ---just checking kitchen supplies a bit better
I stayed overnight, in order to have company for dinner on Thanksgiving. The place was very clean and very accommodating. But because I was serving dinner, which had been picked up already, I would have liked the kitchen to be better stocked with a hand towel and/or paper towels, and a few knives to help out. But overall it was a nice looking spot and enjoyable.

After clean it, overal not bad

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Space, dishwasher.
Cons: The lady that walked around with clip board concerned with check out conditions should be just as attentive to check in conditions.
Location: Alberto's, wall greens. We did find a path to walk but it was only a hundred yards or so long;(
In desperate in need of improvements. Tub won't drain. Blanket was so stained and cover in long black hairs, I slept first night without, the next day housekeeping said I would get a blanket later after laundry. She went home and I just caught the last attendant leaving which gave me a blanket, I had to refused because it was as bad as the first. Then my keys came up somehow wiped off from my room, locking me out when I walked back from a store with groceries to cook. First night I didn't realize until the most inconvenient moment to find out their is no TP anywhere. Front desk seem to be right on over the phone but thats as far as that went. The strange black hairs were throughout the room. The love sear was overly stain to the point of covering it. The shower head made me wish I bought mine. There was light bulbs burn out. No ice. Housekeeping sai" no the one in ur room doesn't work." As housekeeping was filling a cooler with ice from an adjoining room, I had to negotiate some ice from her which she did not want to part with. Extremely hard to find. I could see paying more than I did, which was wonderful deal.

Good for the deal we got

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: Clean and functional
Cons: better working TV and shower, more comfortable bed/sheets
Location: Location was great!
We needed to get to Santa Fe one day early for our vacation due to weather. So I found this hotel for $50/night. The staff were very nice and easy to deal with. The rooms were clean but very out dated. The furniture, kitchen, bathroom, and bed/bedding looked like they had not been updated in 10-20 years. Our bed was very firm (not what we personally desire). It was very clean. I would not recommend personally, but it was very clean and functional.
