Good location at a good price

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Friendlier staff
Location: It's in a plaza with shops and restaurants to check out.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, a bit old but not bad. They are very doable for the price and the location is great. A shopping plaza, restaurants, and a grocery store all just a quick walk away. Also not far from bigger shopping districts

Achieved with short notice

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Convenience to shopping and Christi St Vincent hospital.
Cons: Vet the cleaning staff.
Location: Spent my time at the hospital.
The Suites were fine and the rooms were clean. It was a little difficult to get to the suites at first, but once there it was easy after that. I rated the staff as OK because I left my ditty bag in the bathroom when I checked out. I called shortly thereafter and I was told the cleaning staff would turn in the bag if they found it. The cleaning staff claimed it wasn't there. I had prescription drugs in the bag and so I'm thinking the worst. The rest of the staff was very helpful. Ken

Poorly managed hotel

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: N/A
Cons: Hotel management. They need to make sure that their rooms aren't double booked.
Location: Downtown Santa Fe
We had booked our reservation three months ahead upon arrival when it turns out the hotel had booked our room to someone else. The hotel was unable to accommodate us since they had no rooms available.

Stop-over on the way through

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Room layout
Cons: A driveway straight off the highway into the parking lot.
Location: Neighbors a little shopping center with a grocery store, Subway, etc. Close to I-25, right off of a secondary highway.
Very tricky to find. If you can get it in one shot without missing a turn, let me know what navigation system you are using. Stayed in a 1 queen plus a sleeper sofa with the kichenette...it was simple, had a little local feel to the decor, but had a nice comfy feel to it. The mattress could be replaced, but after driving 14 hours and stepping out on a COLD night, getting into that warm room (they had the heater going for us), and crawling into bed was awesome. If we were ever staying in Santa Fe for a week or two, we would definitely stay here.

Poor hygiene, fragments of food on the carpet.

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Stayed there in 2011. It was good. Now the room resembled a pigs pen. Carpet was dirty beyond words. There were pieces of food on the floor by the bed.

Not luxury hotel; but best deal

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Price is right. Friendly staff
Cons: Better and thicker towels.
Location: Convenient distance to plaza in Santa Fe, close to interstate. Things to do near by? This is Santa Fe. There is too much to do in Santa Fe.
I have stayed at the Santa Fe Suites several times in the past. I have never been disappointed and the staff has always been very accommodating. This is not a luxury hotel but it perhaps one of the best deals in the Santa Fe area.

Economical

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: Front desk clerk was accommodating and friendly.
Cons: This hotel needs updating, i.e. new carpet, new mattresses, sheets, comforters and pillows. The bathrooms and kitchens need a thorough cleaning.
Location: Good location, close to several fast food chains and only about 15 min from downtown.
Rooms old and unclean. Two flat pillows and an old saggy mattress. Downstairs is very noisy. Mattress and bed comforter had "stains" on them. No clock in room, received a 6am wake-up call at 4 am, realized later we were REALLY early! Would only recommend this hotel if cleanliness is not important to you.

Great place to stay if you're passing through!

Posted Jan 4, 2015
My boyfriend and I have been traveling across the country and needed a hotel room to stay for the night while traveling on a budget and this hotel was perfect for us! It is very close to albertsons which was very convenient for food and the kitchenette is great if you want to save money and cook at the room. The carpet and sheets do need to be replaced for sure but it's not like you're paying to stay at the hilton. It's great for the price and we would definitely stay there again.

Good value, upstairs better

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Great deal on the room. We didn't get much sleep the first night because we had a noisy family in the room above us, and this hotel is not well insulated for sound. The manager was great about finding a different, upstairs room for the second night.
