“Worth the distance”

Yes, this hotel is NOT close to the downtown SF action. So what? It is clean, comfortable, VERY affordable and within walking distance of some fine restaurants, stores and the grocery store. You want to get somewhere, you drive - as you would even if you were in a downtown expensive property. And the wireless internet worked great and the non-smoking room smelled good and clean and fresh. With the fridge and microwave, you'd save on food costs too. Only downside - the breakfast offered is limited, unimaginative and on the unhealthy side.

“Good hotel overall”

Good hotel overall. The continental breakfast is very simple. The owner said he might cancel the breakfast in the future.

“I like Easy.”

Sante Fe can be very expensive. We were in town from southern New Mexico to pick up a motorcycle. It was Fiesta weekend so hotels were full. I chose this motel from the reviews online. It seemed most reviewers were happy with this motel. I will say the same. The location is convenient if you will be driving around town. Located on Cerrillios and close to I-25 and also 599 a spur to get around town. There is a pride of ownership in the building and grounds both of which are rather small and makes the place seem special. This is probably the reason why the room was quiet. I did not hear anything inside or out while in the room. I felt that my vehicles, the motorcycle and the vehicle we came in were secure in the small lot. There is even a parking space right up front reserved for motorcycles (until 11pm, then it is up for grabs). I feel good about the price and the value, these things are important to me. So yes I would recommend this to a friend.

“Clean, Comfortable, Reasonably Priced”

Quite satisfactory; bed was comfortable, room was quiet and generously sized. Pleasant surrounding, recently remodeled. Good staff was patient with late departures. Next to bus stop, very convenient transportation dropped us off two block from the Plaza. We'll stay there next time we're in Santa Fe.

“Good deal!!”

The room was large and clean. We stayed there for a week and was very satisfied with the housekeeping service. The microwave and small refrigerator were added bonuses.

“Simple comfort, good price”

I was very happy with Budget Host. It was clean and comfortable and with free Internet, a great value. My only complaint was that is was a long ways from the action of old Santa Fe.

“Price was main draw”

Not as nice as neighbor motels. Appears old and run-down because the are has a lot of new construction. However, it was clean and in good repair. Thought continental breakfast was included, but we never saw it.
