Staff not very friendly. We had to ask for a different room because of a noisy dog next door, who later lunged at my husband and snarled. We have a dog also and we aren’t against dogs unless they are aggressive. They switched our room quickly, but the new room didn’t have a bathtub, like the one we reserved.

Checked in. Was directed to park at the end of the lot as our room was close to the end. Key card did not let us in. Another couple leaving said their card did not work either. Our room was not close to the end, but just down from the checkin. Our card did not work to let us in the room. Back to checkin. First employee coded card for a different room! Ready for a shower. Two conditioners and no shampoo. Had requested a room on the top floor. On the 1st floor. Alreading hearing footsteps above us. Will see how the night goes, but so far way less than whst we would expect.

I wanted to love this hotel I generally like La Quinta as a whole however, the building seemed to be made of paper. I could hear every footstep in the room above me. I could hear every word of every conversation in the halls, annd room next to me. The staff was nice. The room is clean the dog area was very small however it was grass, which is a big perk in New Mexico where normally it’s just gravel. Not much in the way of distractions outside of the hotel. Few places to eat or find entertainment

The only odd thing about the property. Is the choice of barn door style sliding doors for the bathroom, that provide little to no light or sound blocking, and not great for privacy (gap so big on either side due to it not being flush, hand can fit thru). Not sure what the logic was

I stay here about twice a year. I like Santa Rosa better than Albuquerque for safety. While this is an older La Quinta, I am always pleased with the cleanliness and with helpful.staff. Their AC is good too. A dog friendly place.

Nice stay, very clean. Spacious room, comfortable bed. It was very cold the night I stayed wish I had of remembered my slippers as there was no indoor outdoor carpet or rug jusr bare tile floor which was very cold on my feet that would be the only unpleasantry at this property.

The only flaw was that the sink on the bathroom had very weak flow of hot water and is slow to drain, but otber than that minor problem is 5-star all tbe way: Great value for the price in all categories.

Very clean rooms. King accessible was nicely set-up with lots of space. Comfortable beds and linen. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Dog welcoming. This is my go to hotel when traveling through NM. I like Santa Rosa as an overnight stop better than Albuquerque. However, there is little to do here and few restaurants. That said, Chico's is a great Mexican food restaurant within a mile of the hotel. Highly recommend both the hotel and the food.
