"A Touch of History"
The Hotel La Rose takes one back to another era. The hotel is beautifully appointed with period furniture, art work, and other nice touches. We had a most pleasant stay there. The location (Railroad Square) is quiet, nice coffee shops and eateries are in the neighborhood, parking is free, and downtown is within walking distance.

"Super clean and very comfortable"
This hotel was super clean--by far the cleanest room we stayed in during our 6000 mile trip around the western US. The room sparkled. Bed was very comfortable. It was in a quiet location. We were just passing through so only stayed one night.

"Downtown"
I lived in Santa Rosa for many years. I had my 21st birthday at the hotel. Any time I've stayed there it's been excellent. It's a quick walk to the downtown mall and has great little shops right across the street. Room service is always prompt and is very good.

"Comfortable and close to a lot"
This hotel was perfect for a short weekend trip. The price was great, the room exceptionally clean, quiet, and it was very close to a lot of stores/eateries. There was even a Starbucks across the parking lot! The free continental breakfast was lackluster to put it modestly; some bagels, mini muffins, bread for toasting, a coffee machine, and the obligatory condiments for said items. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to save a few extra dollars but not willing to sacrifice comfort and cleanliness.

"Comfortable"
Nice clean rooms very comfortable and modern for the most part I would suggest if I'm paying 80 bucks a night to have a bigger tv and it to be a flat screen. But I give this place a 9 out of 10 like I said very comfortable just I would expect a better breakfast n flat screens
