Very good locationPosted Jun 30, 2010
Just in front of the sea, and very close to the train station. You have to cross a subway with stairs to get to the hotel, but is really worth for the price we paid, very pleasant stay

Very nice HotelPosted Sep 23, 2009
Excellent staff and service, great food and swimming pool with excellent location for the beach, right on the doorstep which is ideal for young families! Worth going again, very nice family holiday.

Not impressed, mass crowd hotelPosted Sep 9, 2009
Bad meals (we had breakfast and dinner) - the cheapest food you can buy and prepared almost like for the dogs, self service but very small bar so it's quite crowded and then everything gets very messy. Rooms ok, staff very apathetic. :D

Plus und MinusPosted Jul 15, 2008 on Hotels.com
Zimmer, Lage des Hotels und Strand sind gut und zu empfehlen. Der Speisesaal im Keller und ein Essen, das einen wirklich nicht vom Hocker reisst, schmälert den guten Eindruck erheblich

The hotel is the other side of a railway line which runs thro' Santa Susanna. You are dropped off on the main road and have to go down a pedestrian underpass 17 steps down/up with your luggage. It takes 3 minutes, no problem if you're able bodied but could be a problem otherwise. Right on the sea front you step straight onto the beach, altho' the pool area is fine, with glass shields to keep any sea breezes out. There is a children's club during the day, which judging by the smiles on their faces, is pretty good. The bar and lounge areas are fine, altho' the entertainment in the evenings is not up to Las Vegas standards. Food is buffet style, plentiful but more to continental tastes.....so don't go looking for breakfast like your mum makes. As virtually all the guests in this hotel are European, it probably explains the menu.....it makes the place feel that bit more exotic not to hear British accents all the time. The rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy and most have a sea-view. There is one block of rooms which looks inland over the railway, we had one of these last time we were here and they're fine, no obtrusive noise from the railway. In summary, good hotel, good location, godd facilities, okay food, iffy access, poor evening entertainment.......give it a shot if you fancy something more than home from home.
