solid spot for small groups of friends

Posted Jan 4, 2013
a very good spot for small or large groups of friends looking for an apartment style place to stay. clean, comfortable and located in the center of santa teresa. be wary of the amount of beds you will be given. we requested 2 queen beds and had to settle for one really nice queen and two singles pushed together. otherwise great spot for people looking hang out and crash. good size bathroom and kitchen has lots of amenities.

Newer facilities, simple clean-cut feel

Posted Dec 14, 2012
Seems like a newer hostel/hotel in town! Were still painting the walls etc. during our stay. The room was spacious, with shelves and a little coffee table and everything. Didn't see any lockers but didn't ask because we had the dormroom to ourselves that night. Convenient separation of shower room from toilet from sink etc. Reception was almost non-existent... ran into the owner seemingly by chance, he gave us the only key to the place, showed us how to turn on the AC, and we were on our way. Simple, no frills, which is fine by me. Right next to the beach path entrance and an awesome restaurant called Zula's. Try the Healthy Green Smoothie if you like cilantro!

Pros: close to beach
Cons: small tv
Location: great for surfers
good, clean, cheap hostel. staff was friendly and accommodating. steps to the beach and many cheap, but good dining spots. would stay at again.
