Good location, but hot and noisy 2*
The place has a fantastic location and it’s clean. However I would give only 2* as the room is dated, very hot- no fan, and there is so many noises coming from all neighbours all night! You can’t sleep easily. We have been in room 227.

Pricey for a 1*
Expensive hotel for a 1* but near ferry port and clean although dated. Comfortable bed. Room basic, no carpet on floor. Bathroom tired, no plug in sink and shower door didn’t shut properly. But very friendly reception in sister hotel across the road. Wifi good was a bonus

Central to travel centres, close to amenities
No heating in room but bearable temperature. No drinks either. Room very tidy & clean and quiet.

When I arrived at the hotel, there was a sign on the door, saying that guests need to check-in at their other hotel, Hotel San Glorio. The guy at the reception desk was very friendly and professional. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The decor was beautiful. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Only a few minutes walk from Santander train station, bus station, and airport buses. I enjoyed my stay. Would most definitely stay there again.

Very well located for the ferry terminal if you’re arriving, parking is nearby and cost about €12 The room was clean and tidy, quite noisy, but ok

Stayed for one night. Arrived late. Booking in was not a problem. (Keys collected from sister hotel on the same street) Parking was a bit of a challenge. Room was clean. Beds firm. WiFi free. Bathroom clean with plenty of towels.

This was a great property, the room was beautiful. Very clean and the staff were super friendly. We had to check in across the street but it was easy. Parking is available in the lot across the street as well, but for a cost. The location is convenient and near great cafes and the supermarket. Only a few blocks from the Train Station. I’d highly recommend.

A simple and clean room for the night
Very close to the train station and not far from the center of Santander; very kind and helpful staff; small and simple but clean and function room A little pricey during the high season but it seems difficult to find a cheaper hotel that is decent. Ideal if you are just looking for a reasonably-priced hotel not far from the center and only need a clean room for the night.

Nice hotel for the price.
The room was good. It was very clean and housekeeping was very attentive. We were on the top floor of the hotel but their were several floors of apartments above us and the dwellers in the apartment above us were very noisy. The location was just three or so blocks from the train and bus stations! And just a couple more blocks away from city center. There is no front desk in the hotel. You need to go across the street to another hotel to check in and out. The entry to the hotel was controlled by our room key card as was the elevator. Our main complaint would be that our beds were rather worn out. We could have also used something like a fan to circulate the air but the temperature was comfortable.

I had all my English money taken from my room. Whilst I know you take a risk leaving valuables in your hotel room this hotel makes a point of security, keeping non-residents out by way of electronic door cards. Unfortunately, it would appear to have been a member of staff. I have emailed the hotel but have received no reply. The other thing which is poor is that you don't actually check-in at the hotel. Instead you have to go to a different hotel for your room details. This isn't made clear on the booking form. Not good when it's late and you want to get to bed.

Reasonable hotel in industrial area
Check-in was a little confusing. I arrived at the hotel I had booked, Bedoya and there was a sign referring me to the other side of the road to San Glorio. It became apparent that it wasn't that the two shared one reception (as sometimes happens) but thatbthey had decided to move everyone into the one hotel. I understood that each had the same standards and amenities so it didn't really matter. But for clarity though...this is a review for Gotel San Glorio! The receptionist was not particularly welcoming and at one point, seemed in doubt of my booking which was worrying. I think they possibly have an archaic paper-based system. The receptionist was not rude or unpleasant...just not enthusiastic! The room was very drab. The window looked out into a roof space with another window just metres away. There was very little natural light. The TV worked fine but there were no English-speaking channels at all (e.g. CNN which seems a favourite in continental hotels!). The decor, fittings and cleanliness were all fine and defied the rather dated feeling of the room. The hotel was very convenient for the ferry port and the train stations although it was also in a slightly run-down, more industrial end of town. However, there was nothing at all that made the area feel unsafe after dark. For the price, I had a reasonable stay. The hotel though wasn't exactly brimming with love, care and attention!

Overnight stay before travelling to Ferrol to walk Camino Ingles. The twin bedded room was spotless & lacked nothing for a one night stay. Despite room being located on a street, it was quiet enough. Some toiletries available despite this being a one * hotel. Would have loved to try the splendid array of tapas in the bar but unfortunately as each was bread based, had to give them a miss as my travelling companion requires a gluten free diet. Excellent value & wouldn't hesitate to stay in Hotel Bedoya again.

Clean and functional for the price. We were having a 24hr stopover before the Ferry next day. A few ants crawling around but didn't seem to be an infestation. Bathroom door didnt close securely.

Checking in was at hotel across the street . Hotel very ordinary, no air conditioning would be a real problem in hot weather . Very one star, would avoid in future. Was expensive for the quality.

Very difficult to find even with Sat Nav. Close to port but very noisy area late into the night. Clean room. Strange booking-in system, had to go from one building to another. Personally wouldn't use hotel again.

Nice, cozy and recommendable :)
The staffs are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy and clean. The free wifi speed is OK. Located near the port and there are lots of restaurants nearby. 10 minutes walk to the central Santander, very convenient. A traditional Spanish bar is downstairs and the breakfast set is very good and costs only 2.20€. We all are happy to spend our weekend trip there!

Older furnishings showing wear but quite. Hot water in bath. Window into courtyard Lift. There is no one there so you must check in and get information at hotel across the street. The desk staff I spoke to only one spoke a small amount if English and he was very helpful. The port is walking distance and the bus and train station are very close by and convenient. grocery just around the corner

This is a little hotel in the center of the city. For a couple that only needs a place to bath and sleep I believe is very good, it is clean, silent and comfortable enough. Its situation near train and bus terminals is wonderful and for someone without car has public buses at the corner. Its restaurant and tapas bar in the first floor are very good.

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel,booked it last minute due to a schedule change.It's really not more than 1 star as there was no air conditioning or a small fridge in the room. Bathroom was ok, not too old.Handy location, 10 minute walk from the bus and train station which is what I needed.The hotel bar is also nice addition for a coffee or tapas.

decent hotel for a cheap price
The staff was helpful. The room had some small holes in the walls that I had to call in as soon as i arrived to make sure i was not blamed for them. Room was comfortable but not fancy. Breakfast offered in the bar downstairs was good and inexpensive. 2 euros for a fresh made croissant sandwich with egg and ham, and a coffee.
