ok for a few hour sleepPosted Jan 12, 2014
Pros: staff. the service was excellent.
Location: not apply
if you need a place to sleep for few hours before catching the next flight at Santiago, this hotel was reasonable but do not expect more. It is not a walking distance from the airport. you have to take a 10 to 15 minute shuttle ride which is complimentary and run every half an hour. However, make sure you get your ticket for the shuttle at the booth near the baggage claim otherwise, once you leave the area, I am not sure how you will get your shuttle. make sure you eat at the airport if you are hungry because the restaurant at the hotel was very slow and the food was not edible. we waited for almost 40 minutes for fried rice and pasta which were salty and the uncooked (not al dente) pasta was swimming in a creamy tomato sauce. We had one spoon and that was it. the room was standard with dirty carpet so make sure you have slippers. the bed was comfortable. the staff were superb, however, If you want a walking distance hotel, there is Holiday Inn across the airport but they only allowed two people in a room so with three people, you need two rooms and each room is about $40 more than the Hilton. I don't know the facility at the Holiday Inn but do your math and decide.

Beautiful HotelPosted Jan 1, 2014
Cons: easier translation of meal prices into American dollars
We stayed here for only about nine hours between a long tour and our plane leaving. The room was very restful and comfortable. The meal was good and reasonable. I wish that we had more time to stay longer.

great hotelPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was a beautiful hotel. Location--very close to the airport (so the neighborhood is the airport and therefore not pretty. Hotel perfect. I thought breakfast was included, so I was disappointed that it was not, but other than that--great place to stay and the people working there were very helpful!

air conditioning not greatPosted Nov 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have been at this Hilton Garden hotel many times, in fact I was one of the first guests the hotel had only two days after first opening. it is modern, clean, well maintained and the staff are excellent. one major disappointment was the air conditioning - it never worked right for two days. I had it checked three times and it still didn't work right. I don't know about others, but I had difficulty sleeping and even working in 24C temperatures. I prefer to have some control over my room temperature, whether hot or cold or in-between... but on this visit I was uncomfortable. ii will however still use this hotel again in near future in the hope the problem was just specific to my particular room. staff are excellent though and Alan at reception deserves a special mention for accommodating me at a 4 am awkward check - in time!

Perfect for the night before/after a flightPosted Nov 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed one night to catch the early morning flight more conveniently. If you have a rental car, it's really hard to find the right exit from the highway and then, following the hotel signs, you have to cruise round the block in the middle of nowhere till you finally find the hotel. But it's worth it. The hotels looks like new (it probably is) and the rooms are perfectly clean. The bathroom was very nice, everything worked perfectly and the shower is a dream. The stuff was very helpful, cause we needed some help with the rental car company and didn't speak spanish. Breakfast was amazing!!! There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. It takes not even 10minutes one way. It's a solid Hilton experience and I highly recommend the hotel for nights before or after flights. To stay in Santiago, it's to far from the city center. I would recommend hotel Mito!

Nice hotel near SCL Santiago, Chile, airportPosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Very pleasant, well kept hotel, nice restaurant and good facilities for relaxing between flights or doing business or laundry.
Cons: I can't think of anything, except perhaps complimentary bottled water in bathrooms.
Location: Desolate, nothing to do and the nearest settlement is a slum. Enjoy the hotel and its access to the airport.
A very nice place to relax and spend a night and day between flights. Very nice room and bathroom (though I never could figure out where the switch was for the bedside lamps). The restaurant had pleasant service and very good food. The pool was very nice, on the warm and relaxing side (I did not use the hot tub, sauna or small gym.) There were laundry facilities and an office area with computers.

Nice, clean place next to the airportPosted Nov 11, 2013
Needed a place next to the airport because I had an early morning flight out the next day.. Great to have a shuttle... Rooms were surprisingly upscale, new and fresh. Great bathroom too!

Nice, modern hotelPosted Oct 18, 2013
Clean, modern hotel. Fantastric design with a very nice swimming pool/sauna/jacuzzi. Very pleasing bathrooms and rooms. Cons: the looby is "cold', unpersonal, and if you don;t have breakfast included, be carefull, it's a rip-off!!! Also: there is no nice night-bar area (you can use the dining room which is not specially charning or cozy)
