There were two reasons for me to go back to this hotel: location and the good experience I had in 2016 when I stayed there. In general, I had a good experience, I did not spend too much time in the hotel just rest at night from work. In this visit I noticed the hotel will benefit a lot from renovating some areas/facilities. Bathrooms tubs are not so well mantain, neither A/C systems. A fresh professional painting will provide a better impresion shen staying longer.

The Hotel Bonaparte was clean, rooms were average. Staff was very nice and helpful. The area around the hotel is very safe, quite residential, with a lot of construction going on close to the hotel. I walked a lot during my stay there. But, there are no restaurants close by for lunch or dinner, which was disappointing, which really is my only complaint. There was a hotpot in the room, but no tea or coffee. And I had to ask for tea at breakfast. I found the coffee in Chile very lacking. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel.

I absolutely loved this hotel I was traveling by myself and I was worried about safety. I felt very safe at all times. It was nice and quiet even though there was construction across the street it didn’t seemed loud at all. The staff was excellent! Restaurant was very good I ate there a lot. It was about a 17 minute walk to downtown Santiago through a nice residential area. Ubers we’re quick if I needed one. Highly recommended this hotel!

It’s a nice hotel in a beautiful area in Santiago. You can take pleasant walks in the neighborhood. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Breakfast was generous, varied and fresh. The room was spotless. My only issue was that the bed had just one blanket. I asked for a duvet/comforter but was told they didn’t have any. Instead, I was given another blanket.

Great location, helpful staff
Good hotel, great location and nice to have outside space. It is an older style hotel but the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Good breakfast.

This hotel is set in a lovely residential part of Santiago away from the civil unrest. It felt very safe. A 15 minutes walk to the metro. It has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with very helpful staff. Reception were very good with booking trips and taxis and local knowledge. The lounge areas were very comfortable. The outside bar area was also lovely. The swimming pool was small but enough to cool off in. Excellent waiting staff especially Mauricio who has an amazing sense of humour. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Nice quiet hotel with super friendly staffs!!!

Worth the price!!
Because this hotel is on Rapa Nui a 5-hour flight from Santiago I would rate this as a 4-star property. The hotel front desk staff helped me make tour reservations, called for taxis, and suggested restaurants. Rooms are furnished with up to date bedding, furniture, and bathroom supplies. The breakfast buffet offers something for everyone. I had dinner at the restaurant on the property two times and everything was very tasty. Nice wines on offer as well as a full bar. They say wifi is only available in the office, but I had a good connection in room #4. Be sure to hire their tour guide to learn about the Rapa Nui history and legions.

The reception was very slow over the weekend. Although the restaurant serves some quite good food, the service is variable while there seems to be a little scam running where one ends up paying service twice. The waiters ask for a tip in cash and then when the meal is charged to the room, et voila! the 10% service charge is included, a "paquete Chileno".

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood, staff went above and beyond to accommodate our non-standard hours. From the hotel, it was a nice walk to the Bellavista neighborhood, and from there along the park to Plaza de Armas. The only negative was on a Friday night, noise from partiers below forced us to shut the window. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the place and the staff very friendly. Our only problem was the booking of the taxi back to the airport. The receptionist were confused and did not know anything about the booking, a very upsetting moment.

This is a comfortable hotel in a safe area of Santiago. The staff are extremely helpful. The restaurant is small but the food is good. My room was a little tired at the edges, but everything works. It is a 15 minute walk to a useful subway station.

15th Anniversary
I had a great experience...I was in there for my 15th Anniversary and I got an upgrade from Hotel without requesting it, so best first impression! We spent 4 nights, but we had 3 days only to know Santiago, so most of our days we were out, but clerks were very helpful whenever we asked for something... I got my Hotels Rewards for my stays and it worked very well too Therefore, no negative words from me!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast spread each day, room was a good size and the bed comfy. The staff packed us a snackbox on the day we left to take to the airport as our flight was before breakfast was served (breakfast was included in our room rate). A 15min walk to Los Leone station. About 20min drive to airport (when no traffic). Room had a bar fridge with kettle but no iron or iron board.
