“would go bavk”

nice neighborhood and great views of the mountains from the top floor where breakfast is served--pool on same level. Very comfortable and clean.

“Santiago's Best Hotel”

We could not have asked for a better hotel during our visit to Santiago, Chile. While you can certainly take advantage of the restaurants in the area, do not pass up El Enebro or the 17th Floor Park Club. There is no better view of the Andes Mountains unless you are on top of the mountains yourself. The services ere exceptional from the front desk, consierge, cleaning staff, wait staff, and of course to the bartenders. They are welcoming and eager to assist you with any request.

When to go

We chose early Spring for our visit to Chile. It is the perfect time when there is still a bit of snow on the mountains, but the first blooms have begun. The major crowds are still a few weeks away so you have plenty of tour options available without the large tour buses to get in your way. Be prepared to bring your spring clothes for the day, but have something for your arms in the evening as there is still a bit of a chill.

“If only it had Wifi”

I really like this hotel, the room is ok, the shower is good, the gym and the room service is really great. The only problem is that the Internet connection in the room is only via cable, which doesnt work for my IPad.

“cannot consider is 4 and half star hotel”

the services is not very good as I expect almost five star hotel. the hotel does not provide tooth brush and shower gel. the soap provided is make my skin very dry and rashes. I have requested later check out due to i only stay until 6pm which is my flight departed on 10pm. I dont mind to pay half day for my staying, but it has been refused. As a 4 star hotel, expecting the waiter at the restaurant can speak little English, but they dont , end up I order some food they did not deliverly . The price you paid isnot worth to stay in this hote

“Loved the staff and location”

We feel we got lucky in choosing the Hotel Plaza El Bosque; it was comfortable, clean and the location was perfect; we had so many dinner choices within blocks and the Metro was close by. Highly recommended.

“New favorite hotel in Santiago”

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was and the location was perfect, in the beautiful, very safe Las Condes area of Santiago. The room was very comfortable and clean with a very comfortable bed and nice linens.The hotel looked new. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the city.

Area recommendations

Las Condes is one of the nicest areas in Santiago because of all the good restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Everything is clean with a lot of nice looking high rise buildings and the Andes mountains in the background.

“Environmentally unfriendly”

Strangely, this hotel has a policy where all rooms will be checked and cleaned regardless of the no disturb sign. We we're told by a very unaccommodating manager, this would be the case whether we like it or not and that it was our fault for not telling them we didn't want constant cleaning before checking in. We had stayed for nearly 2 weeks in this hotel with the chief of house keeping agreed to clean every 3 days. Once we booked with Expedia, the policy changed. The manager mentioned that the hotel was sold out, we had booked through Expedia and that we could leave if we like. Further, his hotel was not responsible for refunds. This is an environmentally unfriendly hotel. The plumbing in the shower smelled. The employees seemed a little sad and hardly a one offered so much as a smile. The breakfast was mediocre at best and very noisy due to the excessive amount of cutlery and plates being moved about. If you are concerned with environment, and dislike being disturbed, then I would suggest avoiding the Hotel Plaza El Bosque Park.

Area recommendations

For the Business traveler I would suggest El Golf. There are many high end restaurants and offices. The Streets are spacious, the architecture modern, and there's plenty of underground parking. The US embassy along with the tallest buildings in South America, and many Starbuck locations, are all within this district.
