"Would stay here again... NO DOUBT!"
Hotel is conveniently located in a beautiful and VERY safe area. Mall is within walking distance (10-15 minute walk), metro is within walking distance (10-15 minute walk), Supermarket (just across the street), and restaurants are all over the place. It's a vey new hotel, with a great staff (bilingual also). Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel views are amazing (city/mountain views are just gorgeous).

"Value for money in great area of Santiago. "
Within easy walking distance of the funicular to San Cristobal hill and La Chascona Casa Museo Santiago, the home the famous poet Pablo Neruda built for his mistress Mathilde, this hotel is definitely worth considering as your Santiago base. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bathroom was well appointed, with a fantastic hot, powerful shower, a must on my room list. The lack of elevator was not a problem for me. There are many good restaurants in the same street, and the next street. In fact the area is well known for its nightlife. There were some minor irritations which were probably more noticeable at the end of four weeks in South America. The first one was the need to buy bottled water, there being only 500mls provided in the room. But there were shops nearby. The second was the disinterested breakfast service. The breakfast was included in the room rate, but the restaurant is perhaps a separate operation. There was no menu and after my initial order of fruit, coffee and scrambled eggs (5/10) I had to seek out the attention of the waitress for items such as salt and pepper. I was also served only about 150mls of water. Luckily I knew a nearby cafe where I could get a real desayuno, cafe Aldea Paraiso in Constitution St.

"Nice hotel in prime location"
This is a really good boutique hotel in the best area of Santiago to stay in. You will be a short walk from Barrio Lastarria and fun restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Our room view overlooked the park, and it was lovely. The best part is the included breakfast - the food is great, process to order is very good, and the servers very nice. The breakfast alone will save you quite a bit of trouble and money each day! The hotel staff was very kind for the most part - there was a mixup about our minibar but they resolved it. They were extra helpful on check-out with watching our bags and helping get us a car arranged for a MUCH better rate than we would have been able to get off the street on our own. Only complaints were the heater in the room wasn't working (didn't matter much, we were still comfortable) and the water in the shower did not get hot to my standards. Overall highly recommend.

"Return after several years"
My wife and I have stayed in this hotel several times over the years and after 5 years or so we find it unchanged in the positive sense. Very accommodating staff, and all the services very accessible. We stayed on the 18th floor which has access to the upstairs lounge. All very nice.

Nice, helpful staff. Massage room was way to small for the service to be provided. Location was excellent for me to get to historic and tourist sites with one exception.

"Central location, easy to get around."
We only stayed one night. The hotel is in a central location and easy to get around since there are lots of different transportation options. However my only complaint is that the room shower didn´t work properly, so the only way to take a shower was using the bathtub. Since we didn´t spend much time at the hotel and were only staying for a night we just let it pass this time.

    Where to stay in Santiago

    Your Guide to Santiago Hotels

How would you like to chill out in Chile’s capital city? Santiago is a hot destination for travelers seeking beautiful architecture, historical gems, and funky nightclubs. The city is a short drive from both the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains. It boasts major universities, incredible museums, and South America’s most advanced subway system. Clusters of hunters and gatherers formed villages here in the thousands of years leading up the Santiago’s official founding in 1541. The city was designed in a grid system that features a plaza, cathedral, and governor’s house. The city now sparkles with ornate fountains, churches, parks, and commercial buildings that rival the beauty of anything you’ll find in Europe’s great cities. When you’re ready to enjoy the City of the Island Hills, Expedia.com has amazing deals on Santiago (and vicinity) hotels.
