Food bad pool dirty drinks awful beach dirty

The hotel sucked! Checkin was slow for no reason, rooms were hot and muggy and dirty and old! Bathtub was disgusting and rusty, air conditioner barely worked! Restaurants that "needed" reservations were ALWAYS empty and still they would not accommodate and not even advise you during check in the hours of reservation cut offs. Pools were dirty. Swim up bar and all bars on all inclusive package had terrible alcohol not even local brands were available. Wine served out of a Clorox looking bottle! Hotel rooms were awful! Food was especially horrible! No ac in cafeteria type looking buffet!

Poor Quality Resort

First of all! When I got there horrible welcome in. They are selling rooms with no Air Conditioning, phones that don't work, staff that are not helpful at all. Save yourself the major regret and book your trip and just go to Puerto Plata or Punta Cana!

Pros: The view of the beach looking towards the ocean.
For being a first timer staying at Be Live Hamaca Hotel. I would repeat my trip to the hotel one more time.

Location: there are small shop a good restaurants near by
This was the worst hotel that I had ever stayed in. the rooms were dirty and smell, the food was bad, the staff was unfriendly. I've been to the DR many times and will go back again but I will never stay at this hotel. It did not matter how many times I asked for someone to come fix something in my room, my request felt on deaf ears. Do go to the DR is a beautiful place but don’t stay at this hotel it will ruin your vacations. The food was terrible, the drinks where awful. And so many things were wrong with this hotel that I can’t imagine ever bothering to go back there.

Pros: Close to the beach and Airport. The people, especially at the buffet restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hotel needs a bit of sprucing up. The elevator broken and there was no ice machine.
We had a room on the bottom floor with the beach at the back door. Open the back door and walk 50 ft to the beach. The room was clean and spacious with a king size bed and a sofa. The dresser draw was broken but we really did not need it; the shower was leaking water on the floor but that was fixed as soon as we reported it. There was no ice for the room and we had to make 3 request for fresh bath towels before we got them.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: Beach has crystal clear, calm water, beach is clean. Hotel is on the beach. Bars were conveniently located by the beach and pool. Beautiful gardens.
Cons: The quality of the food offered in the snack bar by the beach could be better.
Location: Excellent location, hotel is on the beach, hotel had great activities on the beach : Zumba, acqua aerobics.
Hotel is very strict with 3:00PM check in. They are also very strict with providing beach towels and bath towels. Food in the buffet is much better than the food in the restaurant by the snack bar in the beach. Hotel location is great. Our room ( ocean view ) had a beautiful view of the pool and the beach.

I wanted to cancel everything and booked another hotel but I would lost all my money. Rooms and facility are discusting.

2014 Trip

Pros: Poolside balcony, two large pools
Cons: Definitely the rooms, and overall condition of hotel looked old.
Location: Restaurants outside the resort are located on the water, and great for night time dining. Shopping was within walking distance
Room was not what I paid for or what was shown to me when I booked it. Mattress was filthy, and had mold. phone didn't work, bathroom shower didn't work correctly. I paid for king and received two twin beds. Only nice thing was the poolside balcony. I complained to front desk and they could not change my room, because they were booked.
