Stayed only one night in a room on second floor with a queen bed. Pros : Very good Location. Very comfortable bed Good working wifi Good A/C Big electronic safe in room. Cons : Dark room Old furniture (except for the very comfortable bed) Bad TV picture quality and few TV channels.

In the colonial zone, a plus. Hotel has personality. On the negative side, hot water was lukewarm, if that. When maid came to clean room we hadn't left yet and so she left and never came back

The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated with comfortable beds, generally quiet. The fridge in the room was quite noisy.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family (wife and 2 kids ages 10 and 2). Enjoyed are stay immensely. The breakfast was tasty and had a decent selection. The hotel itself was in good condition considering how old it is. The pool on the roof was a nice feature and we spent a fair amount of time there. The front desk usually spoke some english. Great location. Loved being able to walk to everything in the Colonial Zone. Would stay here again.

Good location in colonial zone, nice rooms. Staff is a bit cold and bureaucratic. Breakfast is substantial, with eggs available as well as good bread, plus mediocre extras like bland cheese and cereal.

Nice hotel and room in centrum of old town. After 2 days you have seen everything. Visit China town and go to the water front, thry the small train to see the city.

It's a very nice hotel in the middle of the Zona Colonial. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Still, the breakfasts are slightly disappointing for their price and when you turn up too light the choice is limited.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful and peaceful yard insid. You are not in DR for that but the TV in the room isn't impressive. The swimming pool is very small and the breakfast need to be improve.
